Jeez, I'm moving to Denmark.

So I guess the home of Soren Kirkegaard's cheered up. From reading his Either/Or in college, I got this feeling that the Danes on which he based alot of his writings were a pretty miserable lot.

It's true though; acquiring status and 'stuff' is a dead end.

Thats the beauty of being a Capitalist Pig. You can have it all without having to make choices.

Danish women (especially the redheads) are EXTREMELY HOT.

That's a good reason to be happy.:)

In my youth I back-packed across Scandinavia, this is what I learned:

Norwegian women are strikingly gorgeous.
Finnish women are free spirits who enjoy being nude.
Swedish women are attracted to swarthy men.
Danish women are fun to be with, love to dance and are EXTREMELY HOT!

I read nothing about how the Danish strip clubs are. How can one be happy without a few good lap dances a week. I also don't think I could be all that happy without my stuff. They may be the happiest people on earth, but then again ignorance is bliss. Yes there is an obvious reply to this. Go ahead. I expect it.

You spent your youth wisely.

Having it all, hmmmmm. I don't really want to burst your bubble,
but is that the reason you are on an escort review board??

Not sure what you mean.

This would appear to be a good spot for an overindulged hedonistic bastard to hang out.

it must be lonely to be one of the few pure "saints" on this Board but I guess thats the cross you must bear.

I will respond as one of my friends did, when he was a recruit in the military:

Drill sergeant: "There is rust on your water bottle"
Friend: "No sir, it is not rust. Waterbottle is made of aluminum, does not rust"
Drill Sergeant: "Not Understood"
Friend: "Not expected"

Landed him a week in detention.

You do NOT call a Sergeant by the title Sir. That is an insult to any NCO.

Translated from danish by a non-military person. Actually, I have no bloody idea what
rank the inspecting officer/whatever had.

Does not change the point of the exchange, though.

LOL!
True, because any NCO will tell you, he works for a living!
But, in this case, he was dealing with a 'trainee' who knew none of this...;)

I find it kind of amusing, that I am just as proud of NOT having been a
soldier as you two comrade in arms are of having been soldiers.

Well lets just say, it was an eye opening experience/education at the time.

I am sure it was, and I meant no disrespect at all. It just struck me that it
leaves an imprint on a person.
