During a recent tour date in our fair city I had the pleasure of attending the Jazz Festival. The conductor (Jasmine) was very friendly and willing to play just about any song I could name. I think she doesn't play Mediterranean music, but I never asked. She's just a tiny little wisp of a conductor but proportionally, very near perfect (for my tastes). She brought with her a impressive wardrobe and even offered me the opportunity to pick something out. I think she was sensing this would be a long process so she decided on the appropriate outfit and took a few minutes to change into it.

She emerged from her dressing room a few minutes later, she was a vision with her short silky black hair and tight fitting little outfit. We talked a little about the kind of music I liked and she was more than willing to perform. The festival started with a flute solo and I must say she is impressively skilled. In fact, I did say so, and she replied "I haven't even done anything yet, I'm just getting warmed up". A few minutes later it was time to try another piece of music. This time I played a little something for her, which she seemed to quite enjoy (these interactive festivals are the best). After that She played another one of my favorites. It's was such an exciting performance, that I found myself hanging on to her waist so that I didn't miss a note. I was worried at one point that I might actually be hanging on too tightly, as my hands felt like they almost went around her entire waist ( probably only half way). Anyway, I relaxed my grip a little and song came to it's natural crescendo.

She invited me back to her dressing room so we could clean up or instruments together and we spent the last 15 minutes or so under nice hot water getting soapy and clean.

Lots of fun, I'll definitely be looking for that festival to come back soon.

Wow!

Cousin Twiz,

You are the "Cyrano de Bergerac" of reviews! I mean that you have his poetic skills of course...you don't have his big nose...you have the cute little nose of your father (the hamster). ;)

What a beautiful review!

Bravo!
