Employees of a kebab meat retailer were assaulted yesterday after a tabloid revealed that it had sold beef that contained traces of pork to numerous kebab shops.
Several young men entered the premises of Tayyib Food in the western Copenhagen suburb of Taastrup and assaulted the director and another employee. The victims had to be taken to an area A&E to be treated for their wounds.
“They just start hitting us while they shouted and screamed that we had sold them pork and that they had eaten pork because of us,” the company’s director told Ekstra Bladet.
Deputy police commissioner Brian Christensen from North Zealand Police confirmed the incident.
“A little after 2pm we received a call from the business that four or five young men had visited their office, shouted at them and assaulted two people,” Christensen told Ekstra Bladet, adding that the incident was likely directly related to Ekstra Bladet’s reporting.
Ekstra Bladet tested meat at nine kebab shops and found that four of the samples contained traces of pork. In one case more than one percent of the meat was pork.
The news shocked Denmark’s Muslim community, whose religion forbids them from eating pork, although organisation Danish Halal – which regulates food that is permitted for eating under Islamic practices – said it was not surprised by the news.

A Muslim flew a jihad flag outside his home in Grönland Platz in the west of Oslo, a Muslim-colonised area. Some people complained to the police about it but they said it wasn't illegal. They did go to the Muslim's home however and eventually persuaded him to take it down.

Money raised by an Islamic charity created to help Canada’s poor and needy instead went overseas, potentially into the hands of violent militants, a government audit has found.
The federal charity watchdog is now threatening to revoke the charity status of Mississauga’s ISNA (Islamic Society of North America) Development Foundation.
A Canada Revenue Agency audit revealed the foundation shipped more than $280,000 to a Pakistan-based agency, cash the government fears went to supporting the Hizbul Mujahideen — a militant group that seeks the secession of Kashmir from India.
The foundation “facilitated the transfer of resources that may have been used to support the efforts of a political organization . . . and its armed wing,” the CRA said in a letter to the charity outlining its findings, obtained by the Star.

And your point is what...... exactly? That we as members of a modern Society shouldn't be aware of clear and obvious dangers within our midst....? What, if anything, would you suggest to address clear and legitimate concerns? This french girl is cute and her French (language ) is beautiful. Makes me wish that I spoke and understood French better then I do.... Sincerely, Jon .OMG!!! You mean there are Muslims who engage in violent, immoral and unethical behaviour?!?! Do you have anything constructive to offer this site, Mr. Scouser1, or are all your posts angry and foul mouthed attempts at your idea of ' wit'? It's posts like this this which exasperate and perpetuate the problem. They ate a little pork...big fucking deal.
Well, if I grab random news articles from around the internet, I can crate a list that shows any group as dangerous as canada-man has done with Muslims. But I don't think that's a reason to be scared of a non-organized, unaffiliated group. Now if you want to single out an actual organization, like Hamas, that's one thing. But that isn't what canada-man did. He engage in stereotyping and prejudice. He found a sample to justify his opinion and applied it to the whole. Are Muslims violent? Some are, some aren't. Just as some whites are violent, some blacks are violent, some anything are violent...And your point is what...... exactly? It may have more to do with patterns of behaviour within clearly identifiable groups..... I believe that it is unwise to get too caught up in this 'Politically Correct' way of thinking where everyone is expected to give everyone else the benefit of the doubt dispite strong evidence not to. And No, I wasn't intending to suggest that becuase I find this girl to be attractive that anyone should give additional credence to what she's saying. I do like her French (language), though. You asked me what my point is...my point was to ask that exact same question to canada-man. He listed a bunch of articles explaining bad things done by Muslims. What's his point? If it's that "Muslims" as a whole pose a threat to us, then his point is rather strawman. "Here is a list of Muslims who did bad things, we should fear all Muslims and watch them carefull!" Sorry, I don't buy that. I think that's an abhorrent way to form opinions and I think it's just as bad as racism and sexism.
She is cute, and French is a beautiful language. I hope you aren't suggesting either of those give her opinion more merit than they would if she was ugly and speaking something less pleasing to your ear?
As someone who has been subjected to discrimination and prejudice, I don't think "political correctness" is a bad thing. I propose that judging on individual on his or her merits is much better, and prejudging and entire group because the actions of a few are reprehensible is a dangerous path to take, as every group has people of a reprehensible nature within its rank and file.It may have more to do with patterns of behaviour within clearly identifiable groups..... You're not playing the 'victim' card here are you, Mr. Dtjohnst...? Being 'Politically Correct' may be a good thing to aspire to, but, in my view, the practical applications of this way of thinking can be naive as it applies to legitimate ( in this case, security) concerns. You idiot...they aren't allergic to pork! And if they did eat some unknowingly, unwittingly and unintended...I'm sure they will be forgivenIt's posts like this this which exasperate and perpetuate the problem.
Your lack of sensitivity because you don't follow/understand their culture is why it is difficult for people of different cultures to co-exist.
What would you do if you were allergic to something and were unknowingly given 'a little'? Ya, values are different from physical ailments, but the consuming of pork for these people is very mentally hurtful. Not for you to judge the validity, but rather to acknowledge.
