A quick question on etiquette

Great forum, a quick question

I found out about this board from a buddy. This is great. I wish we had a board like this in the states!

I visit the toronto area a few days a month for work, and I would like to have some fun while I am in town. I use a service on occasion in the states – I am not a rookie – I know how things work. Here is my question – maybe it is etiquette – or maybe it is cultural.

I have tried on two separate occasions to set an appointment with an established Toronto blonde. She advertises herself as a true legend. On both occasions, I received a nice initial email back from her. All subsequent emails exhibit increasing levels of antagonism, until she just stops responding. All of my communication with her has been through email – her preference. All of my email has been friendly and personable. Do the toronto ladies not respond well to friendly & personable? Should I be more direct in my emails? Or, should I just give up on this one?

If so, I would appreciate any recommendations for a 40-ish lady, with a hard body and a thirst for lust. :D

Either it's her, or it's you.

Best way to find out is to move on to someone else. If you still get the same treatment from a few others well reviewed and professional ladies, that would be a sign that it's you, not them. But if you are indeed being polite and respectul, you shouldn't have problem getting positive responses.

Things in Canada different than the U.S. No worries about L.E. at all on outcalls. No need for verification or references. Perhaps the lady thought you were wasting her time. Don't be graphic or rude in emails but should only take a couple of quick notes to lock in an appointment.

Perhaps you should just try outcall with one of the well reviewed ladies indy or agency by phone call.

Thanks for all of the great input - this is a great board!

So far this year, I have spent time with a few independents while in toronto, and have had excellent experiences each time. This one lady is someone I really wanted to see. But, like you mentioned A1, sometime people flake out - or just get a bad feeling - and that's that. Time to move on

You guys in toronto don't know how great you have it up there. I will not be back until mid-August - I cannot wait

That PLUS a fairly decent health care system, some great domestic beers, four wonderful seasons and most of the white world loves us.

It does not get any better!

Hmmm.. now there's a vote topic:

Free healthcare...

Legal prostitution...

Which is the bigger advantage in being Canadian?

It could be that you are communicating with a feminist type that wishes to antagonize men or maybe even a guy pretending to be a woman. It cost them nothing to put an ad on Kijiji or Craigslist. It both cases you might be in touch with a nutjob.

There are some ladies who will get upset if you do not provide a specific date/time as they feel that you may be wasting their time and are wishy-washy about really booking. Best to be friendly and personable and give a concrete date for the booking.

Bingo, a lot of men enjoy the back and forth emails, getting more personal and graphic each time. Rather than book they simply want to get off on the emails. Be friendly and personable but get to the point quickly.

As wonderful as legal prostitution is, and it is AWESOME, I think most Americans feel that your socialized healthcare is the biggest draw. It's what Obama is pushing us towards now.

Prostitution is a victim-less crime, and usually only pursued around election time where I live in the states

The woman I was trying to see is a well established, well reviewed blonde toronto escort. A feminist - maybe. A guy pretending to be a woman - no. Nutjob - well, that's a fighting word where I come from.

I'll settle for what A1 had said - maybe a little flaky

If she is well established she has a regular clientele and doesn't need to waste time emailing you. One or two emails should be all you need to book an appointment. Keep your eye on the prize which is the appointment, not an email relationship.

Right on point, Tballs. If this lady is established, and advertising for new clients, you should be able to move through the process quickly. Keep your eye on the prize and close escrow.

Sailracer, you've been discrete & not named this lady - good for you. You are accruing points with the other women on this board, and that will pay dividends in the future

I don't think back and forth emails are to get off. Believe it or not, men also want to feel comfortable and have a conversation before meeting to avoid any awkwardness.

Many ladies are usually disgusted by graphic emails (understandable) and the guys know this so they want to tactfully ease into the questions they really have. The reason they tend to get more graphic as the emails progress is that they now are more comfortable talking the way they wanted to ask questions all along.

All this said it is a fine line between wasting the ladies time and establishing a comfortable exchange. To complicate this each lady and guy is different in how quickly they proceed.

This is how I generally see it but i'm sure you will still run into the odd wacko that does what you said.

Both, concurrently.
What if we had both concurrently, but flipped the situations, i.e., free prostitution and legal healthcare.

LOL!
