And I didn't agree with his politics but Ford wasn't a bad mayor, just an embarrassment.

This guy would probably considered a fringe candidate and unless he was extremely charasmatic, would not stand a chance of winning. He might popssibly help elect Ford by splitting the anti-Ford vote and taking votes from Tory, but probably Cole is inconsequential (unless Oprah campaigns for him or something)
