I have this posted on my site and blog and have mentioned it a few times here...
Recently, I have had a lot of last-minute appointment requests via e-mail or through Terb PMs.
It's really difficult for me to check my e-mails while I'm working... and each appointment that is booked via e-mail takes one or two replies ... during those delays, another appointment might be booked by my receptionist, so we've both wasted time...
I realize that in the past, I was a bad girl when it came to my phone... and there have been days, when my receptionist wasn't working, that my vm wouldn't stop filling up throughout the day... I realize I haven't been easy to get a hold of... But on the most-part... having Matt doing my phones has helped me provide better service to you by reaching a real live person when you call my work line....
I realize that it's not always convenient and there are times when i might have the time to book a last-minute appointment via e-mail... but calling is definitely preferred.
And the "no Private Caller" thingy... again, I realize some people really have a blocked number that cannot be changed for whatever reason... but my experience seems to be consistently negative on the rare occasion that I break my own rule and pick up a blocked call... Additionally, my safety is important to me... I do not require a lot of information from you to book an appointment, however there are certain exceptions I won't make... the phone number thingy is one of them.
