I wonder the ministry of health has made the HIV blood test as one of the standard yearly medical test for everyone.

The reason that I am asking was because my family doctor took so many tub of blood from me and I wonder if the HIV test is one of the compulsory blood testing.

HIV requires consent.
Although enough other tests, esp liver functions my show up something - not definitive-if it is in somewhat advanced stages.

I'm from the States, so things may be slightly different, but not very much I can assure you.

Your physician should not be carrying out ANY tests without your consent. Often times, there are "routine" tests done with a physical. You just need to ask what those are; your physician should have no hesitation to tell you. If you don't want them done, simply say so.

The ethical principle of informed consent has assumed much greater prominence than it held in the past in medicine.
