Well I think its a Bylaw question....
I figured somebody on TERB might know....

A buddy of mine has an existing business that he wants to partition into two separate businesses....
The new area (will serve food) will have a separate entrance/exit....
The entrance/exit will have two steps leading up to it....

The question is does my buddy have to build a ramp for people with disabilities?

Not so fast

It depends on the size and type of business. Accessibility isn't intended to be burdensome to business. You are simply required to make reasonable concessions. Best to consult the AODA. They have an online wizard to provide initial guidance.

Well said, Mervyn. Why in the world would one ask such a question on this forum? And additionally, why would one expect a credible and comprehensive answer?

Umm... what are forums for?
The OP doesn't need a 'credible and comprehensive answer'... surely no matter what the question is, this community is diverse enough to AT THE VERY LEAST be able to give an OP some advice regarding a starting point, if not some first-hand experience.
