A BRITISH tradition ends...

Somewhere on a golf course
More than 100 years of British tradition came to and end yesterday as the final bottle of HP brown sauce rolled off a production line in a Birmingham factory."The official sauce of Great Britain" will now be manufactured in a plant in the Netherlands.
The distinctive brown bottle carries a picture of the House of Parliament -giving rise to its name-on a blue and red label. This raises the obvious question-should the label and name now be changed....

HAHA.... funny! Yeah, what will the Brits do now to compensate for their notoriously bland culinary preferences.

This is really wrong, I am going to go out and buy several bottles of British made brown sauce just to hoard it.
Who knows what those fucking dutchmen will be putting in it. They have always allowed gays in the army you know.

I was trying to think of a similar institution in Amsterdam to name the sauce after? How about the Bananen Bar (BB sauce) that is the Banana bar to you and me.

http://www.casarosso.com/info/bbar. I will leave it up to you what goes on there. :D

I think you are trying to set Lancslad up for suicide. Tetley's is owned by the danish brewery Carlsberg.:p

We still have Fullers Porter and Burtonwood Bitter to see us through these difficult times.

Would you recommend them for purchase by Carlsberg?
