Good evening folks,
I've been hesitant to bring this up, I had been hoping it was just noise that would vanish. I'm also starting to wonder if i might not be the only one dealing with this, as it has the hallmarks of a scam.

I've been posting here for some time, typically only stick to the positive, and if I didn't have a good session I'd simply not repeat with that provider.

Recently I saw a indy provider that I had seen one other time. About 5 days after a pretty unremarkable meet up, I've started getting messages about pregnancy. That has now escalated to messages around financial support, and just today mention of the authorities.
The provider is insisting that during the session the condom came off. This did not happen. On top of that, the timeline doesn't make sense, since it was less than a week from the meeting to the claims of pregnancy. I'm not a doctor, but that does not seem like enough time for this. Dr. Google tells me that positive pregnancy tests tend to take around 2 weeks to show...but that is Dr. Google.

So, I'm not at all worried about this being "mine". But these messages have continued to roll in, and I have become a bit worried on that front.

Not sure if there is advice to be offered to this situation, maybe I'm just hoping someone will say this is all smoke and no fire, and that it happens from time-to-time.

While I don't want this blowing up into a huge thing (as I think this is just noise with no substance), I do feel a responsibility to put this out there, since I'm a bit suspicious others might be getting the same treatment.

For now, I'll keep names out of this, but can PM folks who might share this concern.

DNA Test. That is the only money that you should put out for. No diapers or what ever.

Nobody knows that they are pregnant within a week of the deed. If she's coming at you after 2 months then it may require more scrutiny. This is simply a scam. Block number and move on.

An indy SW with no pregnancy contingency plan except to start bugging you for child support? Scam….
"Plan B" is a thing, and over the counter at the pharmacy. Very few sexually active women wouldn't know that.

Send her a link to that, and then block her and move on (unless you want to share the link for her ad).

Exactly why I at the end of my post I placed the letter "G" grace.

Actually do us all a favor and post her website here so we can avoid her like the black plague.

Not that there is anything for the OP to worry about but it raises a point.

If the person is demanding money on the basis of being pregnant and threatens to go to the "authorities" (implying the police) unless you give her money (financial support) , that person is committing criminal extortion. And quite likely Criminal Harrasment.

Extortion

  • 346 (1) Every one commits extortion who, without reasonable justification or excuse and with intent to obtain anything, by threats, accusations, menaces or violence induces or attempts to induce any person, whether or not he is the person threatened, accused or menaced or to whom violence is shown, to do anything or cause anything to be done.

Write her back and say this:

"There is no way you are pregnant by me. Stop trying to pull your scam on me. Your harassing messages that have escalated to threats that you will go to the authorities unless I give you money is called Extortion. I have saved all our messages. Do not contact me or anyone related to me except through a family lawyer in 9 months. If you do not stop harassing me, or contact me, I will go to the police and file a complaint of criminal harassment and extortion. I will not respond to any more of your messages."

I appreciate the replies and the advice, I needed a sounding board just to be sure this was as nutty as it felt to me. So thank you for providing that.
The provider in question is Charlie. Charlieintoronto here on Terb, formerly https://x.com/charliebb__ and Charlie_x2 (@misscharlie580.bsky.social) - both of these accounts are either suspended or deactivated.
My hesitation to name the provider stems from this not being a random LL encounter, but a fairly well established provider in town who has many admirers.
