Atilla the Hun
One of the greatest warriors in history was able to win a lot of his battles in his lifetime, but marriage was not one of them. Atilla suffered a heart attack while having sex with his wife...on their wedding night. Feel free to mention that the next time your girlfriend pesters you about making an honest woman out of her.

Jack McConaughey (Matthew McConaughey’s Dad)
In her recent book, Matthew McConaughey’s mother revealed that her husband died while having sex with her. Kay McConaughey went on to say that her husband’s death during sex was “the best way to go” and that she insisted he be taken from the house in the buff because she was “just so proud to show off my big old Jim McConaughey – and his gift!” Matthew couldn't be reached for comment because he was off making a bad movie somewhere.

Pope John XII
The story behind Pope John XII’s death in 964 is disputed, but one of two things happened – either he had a heart attack while having sex with another man’s wife or the husband caught the Pope in the act of having sex with his wife and beat him to death. Either way, the Pope’s sex drive cost him his life.

Nelson Rockefeller
The former Vice President died in 1979 of a heart attack while having sex. But what makes Rockefeller’s death extra juicy is the fact that the woman under him when he died wasn’t his wife – it was his mistress Megan Marshak.

Michael Hutchence
The former lead singer of INXS gets the distinction of being the only person on this list that died having sex with himself. As was widely reported in the tabloids back in 1997, Hutchence was found dead in his hotel room naked and with a belt around his neck. Officially, his death was ruled a suicide but it’s believed the real cause of death was autoerotic asphyxiation.

Felix Faure
Leave it to the French to add a layer of soap opera drama to your typical sex death. Faure, the former President of France, died of a heart attack in his office while getting a blow job from a 30-year-old woman named Marguerite Steinheil. In an added twist, Steinheil went on to become a mistress to numerous famous French men after Faure’s death before eventually getting married. And then, mysteriously, her husband and stepmother were found strangled to death in their home.

Pope Paul II
Believe it or not, two Popes have made the list of famous people who have died during sex – make of that what you will. Anyway, in the case of Pope Paul II, he suffered a stroke in 1471 while being sodomized by a page boy. This explains so much...

Should we add Alexander The Great (he is called the Great for a very good reason) to the list? Also, was he gay?

Wasn't there a British Tory Member of Parliament who died of autoerotic asphyxiation several years before Michael Hutchence?

When Jeffrey Dalmar died, he was being Jeffry Dalmarized with a broom stick. Does this count if he liked it?

Wikpedia suggests that Attila was murdered by his bride, the killing arranged by the cunning Byzantines; or that he drowned in blood from a ruptured sore in his throat. No suggestion that he died having sex.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Attila_the_Hun#Invasion_of_Italy_and_death

"After Attila left Italy and returned to his palace across the Danube, he planned to strike at Constantinople again and reclaim the tribute which Marcian had cut off. (Marcian was the successor of Theodosius and had ceased paying tribute in late 450 while Attila was occupied in the west; multiple invasions by the Huns and others had left the Balkans with little to plunder.) However Attila died in the early months of 453. The conventional account, from Priscus, says that at a feast celebrating his latest marriage to the beautiful and young Ildico (if uncorrupted, the name suggests a Gothic origin)[18] he suffered a severe nosebleed and choked to death in a stupor. An alternative theory is that he succumbed to internal bleeding after heavy drinking or a condition called esophageal varices, where a hemorrhoid in the lower part of the esophagus ruptures leaving the person to choke on his/her own blood.[19]

"Another account of his death, first recorded 80 years after the events by the Roman chronicler Count Marcellinus, reports that "Attila, King of the Huns and ravager of the provinces of Europe, was pierced by the hand and blade of his wife."[20] The Volsunga saga and the Poetic Edda also claim that King Atli (Attila) died at the hands of his wife, Gudrun.[21] Most scholars reject these accounts as no more than hearsay, preferring instead the account given by Attila's contemporary Priscus. Priscus' version, however, has recently come under renewed scrutiny by Michael A. Babcock.[22] Based on detailed philological analysis, Babcock concludes that the account of natural death, given by Priscus, was an ecclesiastical "cover story" and that Emperor Marcian (who ruled the Eastern Roman Empire from 450-457) was the political force behind Attila's death."

Was Attila the Hun a direct descendant of the fearsome Mongols?
Absolutely. Ghengis Khan (around 1200 AD) was Attila's great grandfather 800 years earlier. (400 AD).

Yes, we should. But he died of malaria and not while having sex IIRC.
