not exactly 600, $100 plus tax gets you 100 minutes to begin with, they have a special $25 coupon added and the phone which is a basic Nokia, my minutes came out to about 135 or so. So right after I went and got an Iphone took out the Rogers sim card and put in the one from the Nokia, I have no browsing but thats why wifi was invented but I have an Iphone on as a pay as you go plan with no contract stupidity from any of the big companies.

I did the same thing, bought a cheap iphone off craigslist and run it off speakout pay as you go. And don't forget, you can run skype on it now, though not with video.

You are wrong.

I took the very same deal last year and started out with about 630 minutes. The phone was low-tech, but decent quality.

Needed to buy a $25 top-up at the end of 12 months to keep my contract alive, and still have most of my minutes.
