Hello Gentlemen,

It's Asian Nicole. A friend of mine who is from Vancouver invited me to see a special concert at The Royal Conservatory on April 30th, 2017. This was my first time to see a concert there, and I really enjoyed it. :)

The Royal Conservatory of Music, branded as The Royal Conservatory, is a music education business and performance venue headquartered in Toronto. It was founded in 1886 by Edward Fisher as The Toronto Conservatory of Music. Edward Fisher was a young organist born in the United States. The Conservatory became the first institution of its kind in Canada: a school dedicated to the training of singers and musicians, and also to instilling a love of music in young children.

In 1947, King George VI incorporated the organization through royal charter. Its Toronto home was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1995, in recognition of the institution's significant influence on music education in Canada.

Hello Gentlemen,

The Royal Conservatory Orchestra (RCO), widely regarded as an outstanding ensemble and one of the best training orchestras in North America, consists of instrumental students in the undergraduate and graduate programs of The Glenn Gould School. Graduates of the RCO have joined the ranks of the greatest orchestras in the world. The extraordinary artists of The Glenn Gould School vocal program and the Royal Conservatory Orchestra perform a chamber opera each fall in Mazzoleni Hall and a fully staged opera performance in Koerner Hall each spring.

The Glenn Gould School, The Royal Conservatory of Music’s internationally recognized centre for professional training in music performance at the post-secondary and post-bachelor levels, celebrates 20 years during the 2017-18 concert season with a unique performance of the complete Rachmaninov Preludes in the Glenn Gould School Piano Showcase in April. Additionally, The Conservatory has launched Resounding! The Campaign for The Glenn Gould School, through which it will engage the community in reflecting on the incredible successes of the past 20 years.
