I originally thought Fibe was the best....better TV better surfing speeds.
Since last Fri March 30 their service has sucked the big one.

Last Friday we started to get pixelation (like u got with Xpressvu during a storm). It affected all the HD channels. Sat AM I called tech support and they change some modem settings. Sun AM it was worse so I called again and they ended up scheduling a tech call for Wed AM (my timing not theirs).

Tech arrived at 830 and said "i bet the problem is solved?" I confirmed that since Monday it was ok. Tech said that a software upgrade by Bell had fucked it all up and that it wasnt until there were 100's of home tech calls booked that senior management figured out that they had screwed up.

Thursday night we lost all channels...HD and regular at about 7PM.

I called to cancel and switch back to Sympatico and Xpressvu but they insist that I woyuld then have pay the Fibe installation fee of $199, which has originally been waived. I argued that the contract was 2-way....I paid them and they provide service. Since they didn't provide service then I dont need to pay them.

Back and forth.....there is a wait time to get Sympatico and Xpressvu...There is a 30 day notice required to cancel (????) blah blah blah....I said fuck it give me money back and I will leave it as is. I get $60 off phone bill.

I will seriously consider moving elsewhere at the end of the 24 months when it costs me nada.

For all you others who may be considering FIBE....stay away.

I've had absolutely no problems with fibe (except in installation). Only complaint is during their trial version (entertainment) I was getting faster speeds for less.
