Odd you have install another program, unless 4K bought clip which I have seen this before.
I tried d/l from utube then I realise I had to log in to see the file and d/l it. I guess the content was extreme for regular viewing.

Have used TONS of sites over the years as well. www.catchvideo.net was my main go to. Then they came up with www.catchmp3.net, so i could just rip audio from the vids. I'm a guitar player, and NOT very fussy about sound quality. I look for 4k or HQ Audio youtube vids and rip the audio from them. Suits my needs. I'm not an audio snob. Have gigs upon gigs of music that I ripped this way! Especially complete live shows or albums. Somehting happened to the catchvideo/catchmp3 site I think. I only use ones that let me chose the bit rate, not the ones that give you no choice. As of late I've been using www.savemp3.app ...there is a popup or two. I SHUT THEM IMMEDIATELY and carry on with my business. LOL
There was even one that let me chose which section of the youtube vid I wanted to download, as well as the bit rate. Think something happened and they no longer allowed you to set the time stamps, so i dropped it and went back to catchvideo.

So let's do two scenarios.
Video
4KD is great for d/l video of any size if 4K is available for free it will show up on the list. If not HDTV - 720 will be on the list as long as the video isn't 10 years old.
But you have to move the files to another folder, because there is a limit to how many video to d/l.
Music.
I still use 4KD to get the music video then I use MyFFVideoConverter to convert to MP3. This is still around compared to others. Other site to get it from for Free.
If MyFF is hard to understand try Mp4video 1 click.
Music Edit.
Audacity. Stick with 32bit and you get drivers else where which they explain.
