I was driving through Barrie on the way back to Toronto and stopped by to see for myself what Back Fitness was all about (hit and miss from what I read). Anyway, turned into the plaza and saw the Aromatherapy massage sign at the back of the parking lot. Went in and waited for the door to unlock and I was ushered into a room and fee collected. I asked if I could take a shower and she showed me to the back into what looked like it served as the laundry room, change room, lunch room, etc. Quickly showered and scooted back to the room thinking that I was sure I read that Back Fitness had showers in every room. Jessica came in and started the massage. She quickly tried to upsell from NR but I said no (extra $100 for BS, wtf?). She charged an extra $20 over the $60 just for her to lie on the table (I reluctantly agreed). She was unresponsive and restrictive. I got onto table and she went straight for the grand finale with a scowl on her face. After about 5 minutes of effort, she urged me to finish. All in all, a very disappointing experience for $120 for what lasted about 20 minutes.
Driving out, I noticed on the right another place in that plaza. I looked at the sign and saw that it was Back Fitness. Oops, I totally missed it on the way in. Damn, maybe next time.
