A global pandemic that killed hundreds of thousands, lockdowns that killed businesses and left many unemployed and caused fianancial devastation around the world, tensions between the biggest countries such as China and the US, Hong Kong protests, the George Floyd riots and protests around the world. What's next?

It can, and I think it will. The economy is going to crash.

Will get worse. Wait until election night in November, and the aftermath. It’s going to be brutal

Let's put things into perspective. 100 years ago today, The Blue Soldier started riding off into the sunset. It killed an estimated 50 million people with 675K in the United States - where it began. Unfortunately a Mini Me Depression began, dooming James Cox and the Democrats to defeat. His Vice-Presidential running mate was FDR. The American Central Bank pitched in, created by JP Morgan Sr, with the term quantitative easing introduced. By 1923 it could have been all over - then the French decided to occupy the Rhineland causing the Deutschmark to collapse. Under pressure from President Calvin Coolidge, the French withdrew and the economy recovered. WW I did not end in Eastern Europe, a Civil War broke out in Russia and Hungary and Romania slugged it out for territory.

So as you can see it's not all bad but now we have to decide what sort of economy we want moving forward.

The stock market is recovering nicely.

The vendor of the house we want to buy wants $2.9mm so some people are still doing well.

You must be doing well too if you are buying a 3 million dollar house!
Our existing house is showing its age. The house we looked at is newly built. Anyway, we haven't bough the new house yet.
