England are lucky they are in a good group, and with a good manager should go through.

dont kid yourself this is a tough group for England, Croatia well we know the story there, Ukraine is an excellent side and the likes of Belarus and Kazakhstan, believe me no one wants to go into Eastern Europe especially late during the year.

on the flipside Scotland faired better, yes the Netherlands are tough, and Norway is pretty good but anything is better than the Euro 2008 group they were put in

Group 1: Portugal, Sweden, Denmark, Hungary, Albania, Malta

Group 4: Germany, Russia, Finland, Wales, Azerbaijan, Liechtenstein

Group 6: Croatia, England, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Andorra

These are IMO the toughest groups

I think the French are in a pretty useless group. They shouldn't have a problem getting first there...

useless group!!! Romania qualified for Euro 2008 and Serbia missed out by 3 points against the Portuguese and a very good Polish side, hardly an easy walk for the Frenchies.

Serbia didn't lose to Poland, Portugal, or Finland in Euro qualifying...they just blow vs. the crap teams!

England vs. Croatia again...it just had to be!

Even if they finish second in their group, they will still have a chance. Four of the best eight second place finishers have a secondary playoff for the final four spots. As long as they get a decent coach, they will make it.

1) Sweden
2) Switzerland
3) Czech Republic
4) Germany
5) Spain
6) Croatia
7) France
8) Italy
9) Holland

Best 8 second place teams:
Portugal, Poland, Russia, Turkey, England, Austria, Republic of Ireland, Scotland

This could set up some interesting playoff matches. Imagine England vs Portugal or England vs Scotland.

I am not being Serbia biased (okay maybe I am) but there is no way Austria finishes ahead of Romania AND Serbia.

I'd like to see a team like Belarus qualify just because I get a little tired of the same teams qualifying over and over.
