Your being sarcastic..........right?

Im going to say that Cavs will win in 6 games.
SA in four.........maybe five and that's only because the refs will make sure that Duncan spends most of game three(in Cleveland) on the bench with foul trouble.

My prediction is Spurs in 5.

Spurs wins will be by a wide margin.

Cavs will sneak a win by a couple points.

The Spurs 4th championship in 9 years will be a cakewalk.

Well, when Detroit one 2 games straight everyone was pointing to a Pistons/Spurs match up. And the possibility of a sweep. How'd that work out for the Pistons?

Beating Detroit has proven to me that Cleveland is no push over. I like the Spurs in 7 but do not count out the Cavs.
To be honest, I thought Cleveland was done when they went down 2-0 against Detroit. Detroit sans Ben Wallace just didn't have a true shot blocker to counter LBJ. With that being said, San Antonio doesn't have that big threat defensively either. (Duncan can block shots but he won't be challenging too many shots due to potential foul trouble.

However, the Spurs have a balanced attack and it is unlikey that LBJ can win 4 games singlehandedly. All SA needs is duncan plus 1 of Mr. Longoria, Manu, Fin-man to step. I wonder if Bowen will be guarding LBJ, He is 6"7 so he might be a lil small to guard LBJ but I don't see LBJ manhandling Bowen like he did to Tayshawn.

Spurs in 6. Should make for an interesting chapter in Lebron's career win or lose.

Spurs in 5 (unless LeBron scores more than 50 in a game, which would mean spurs in 6)

9:00 starts suck.

OHH isn't that everyone's say?

Your telling me that the Cavs are going to play crap with the Spurs?
did they not make it to the east final? and beating Detroit 4 games straight?
Look at the calibre of teams that the Cavs had to beat to get to the finals versus the Spurs.
Spurs beat the Nuggets, Suns and Jazz.
Cavs beat the Wizardsm, Nets and Pistons.

Compare the starting 5 and the benches. Look at experience. Compare the coaches. Compare rest time. These things all favour the Spurs. The Cavs may have youth but the Spurs are a team still much in their prime Duncan has been around a while now but is not in his declining years yet.

And assuming that home court advantage goes to the team with the better record then that would be one more thing in the Spurs favour.

No one is saying that the Cavs will play like crap. Just that the situation looks to favour the Spurs.

Of course the situation favors the Spurs. But Detriot was no push over for the Cavs. If they (Detriot) beat the Spurs in the finals it wouldn't have been that big of an upset. All I'm saying is I, like many underestimated the Cavs vs Pistons series. And they came back and won 4 straight. I still think the Spurs are the team to beat but lets not crown them yet.

If the Cavs can beat the Pistons in 4 straight.............

Yeah it goes without saying that there is a reason as to why the games are played. I'm not crowning the Spurs the champs just yet. Merely clarifying to Mr Lucky why I think they are my choice to win.

The problem for the Cavs ...

..is that the Spurs are everything the Pistons are.....plus the Spurs are not going to go into the scoring droughts the Pistons did...also the Spurs take no one lightly...look how they dismantled the Jazz in game 5...

..the Spurs are the closest thing to a dynasty over the last 10 yrs..I cannot see hem being denied....and at that point 4 titles in 9 yrs....they really have to be considered one of the best teams of all time...regardless of whether they are somewhat vanilla...the results speak for themselves...

Watching the Western Conference teams in the last few weeks has been an eye-opener. Looks almost like watching an entirely-different league: tougher, faster, better. And that's not just the champs, I'm talking about the Spurs, Mavs, Sunds, even the Jazz and Golden State.

If Bowen guards LeBron, just watch for a twisted ankle in game 1, then a Spurs sweep. We'll see some Matt Bonner minutes too, some of the games won't be close.

I'd love to see the Cavs win, but the Spurs have way too much fire power spread among the starting 5. Besides James, Cavs don't have too much, yes I know this kid popped in 31 points in the last game, but really this is all about James and his supporting cast. If James is off, good night, game over.

you have to admit though, Pistons did not play accordingly to what they usually do, Billups wasn't Mr.Bigshot, plus Flip Saunders isn't exactly the kind of coach that knows how to handle big games.

With that said, you may have an arguement based on age, but based on tactics, experience, depth, and team play, Cavs are simply outmatched. Yes Lebron can take the entire Spurs team, then who's next to help him? Its really a hit or miss for the Cavs. However, i think for the Cavs to make a good run at this, Z and Varejo will have to use a lot of their bodies, the Spurs don't really have that much energy other than Parker and Ginobili.

It will be interesting to see the Cavs win it, something fresh and then the critics can shut their mouths about Lebron being not able to win big.
