The Plan is ..
April 23, 2008 or 25 more encounters ... whichever comes first.
With all the talk of folks retiring from the hobby, both SPs and Hobbyists alike that seems to take place at about this time each year, I decided to do some math and set some long term goals for myself.
While I am not quite ready to retire from the hobby myself just yet, I am beginning to see that day waiting for me on the horizon. Life may come along and change my plans, but without a long term goal to pursue, one will never achieve ones desires. I plan on doing a lot of travelling in the future, perhaps alone .. perhaps not; and need to begin securing both my financial and emotional future for where I want to be at that point in my life. I've always been able to clearly define the boundaries of fantasy and reality in my own mind, and as such have enjoyed a fair number of years in the hobby at a fairly casual level.
Some of the ladies I have met of late however have led me to alter my pattern and accelerate the frequency at which I indulge. So, I have decided to set a goal for myself.
My goal, or limit rather is to retire from the hobby when I have exhausted the "Fun Fund" budget I have established for myself between now and April 23, 2008. That should leave me with another 25 visits or so to enjoy before I leave this hobby for good. I intend to book them wisely, and when my time here is done .. I will simply walk away.
At this time I would also like to take a moment to thank all of our recent retirees, without whose assistance and wit would have made my time in this hobby far less enjoyable.
I won't list all of the names .. for you all know who they are and I'm bound to forget someone and feel bad for it later.
For years, I stood in the shadows, always taking away and never giving back. Recently, I found the courage to begin posting and sharing some of my experiences, in order to give back in some small way to the many that have come before me and to those that will follow. With time, I hope that I will become comfortable doing so .. as it still feels awkward to me now. It has been easy of late to say a few kind words of praise or thanks, as there have been so many great ladies to speak of in the area. Some were always there.... I just didn't know it... while others are new to the scene.
I wish all of you a very Merry Christmas. May all your hopes and dreams for 2007 come true. Be good to others. Remember to be good to yourself as well.
Cruzin_62 ............... My personal countdown is currently at 25, with that appointment already made. Only 24 more to plan for. What fun
