So she (presumably) got away with murder so she went and killed someone else. That's Texas for you. Just a little surprised there were no firearms involved - maybe when they take her down, though...

This is a bizarre story. I don't understand how the woman got two bonds for felony charges. I also don't get how she had the murder charge dropped, since it sounds like she might have been at the very least an accessory. Then I realize she's white...

Also, did you guys watch the story from the local Fox affiliate? So over the top on many levels. I mean, he isn't wrong about people being let out on bond who shouldn't be... But the bond system in the US is fucked up to begin with. I remember reading about a teenager in NYC who was in Rikers for nearly two years because he couldn't afford bail. His crime? Allegedly stealing a back pack. American justice is fucked...
