It's interesting to think that buying a $7 million dollar house or a $45 million jet as living frugally but I suppose it's all relative to your net worth. I do admire Chuck Feeney though.

I don't quite get what is there to admire? Having no ego seems despicable to me.

Several years ago I worked in the Thompson Building. Almost daily I would meet up with Ken Thompson in the lobby or elevator. This guy was the most humble dude I've ever met. Everyday he would bring his lunch in a No Frills bag. I'm not talking about lunch in a bag inside a briefcase. He walked with only the yellow No Frills bag by the handle by itself. Talk about frugal. He was a very nice man and he always had his little dog with him.

From talking to him you would never think that this guy was worth 18bill. Really humble dude.

Ken had one painting alone that was worth $117mil CAN :Eek:
