This is an attempt by Joe Francis to wiggle out from a 5.8 million dollar judgement awarded to Tamara Favazza for publishing photographs taken of her without permission and a $10.3 million judgement for making "false and defamatory statements" about Steve Wynn and Wynn Las Vegas LLC., also a further $40 million again for defamation. If that wasn't enough, apparently he owes a further two million dollars in gambling debts to Wynn.
The hutzpa takes one's breath away, GGW Brands in the Bankruptcy Petition called Favazza’s judgement a “trade debt.” and Heather Brook, Francis’s Executive Assistant, said that the bankruptcy was “to restructure its frivolous and burdensome legal affairs.”
