Last Saturday night (March 18th), a friend of mine invited me to see Chris Botti's concert at Roy Thomson Hall. I was so glad that I finally had the chance to watch him playing his trumpet on the stage. I have admired his music for a very long time. I love his music because he blows sensual romantic notes that come straight from his heart. The depth and passion of his music could stop time.

Chris Botti (born October 12, 1962), is an American trumpeter and composer. In 2013, Botti won the Grammy Award in the Best Pop Instrumental Album category, for the album Impressions. He was also nominated in 2008 for his album Italia and received three nominations in 2010 for the live album Chris Botti In Boston. Four of his albums have reached the No. 1 position on the Billboard jazz albums chart.

Wow...what a fabulous concert....and I really enjoyed it! Thanks so much once again, my dear friend!

Chris Botti partnered with Andrea Bocelli on the song "Italia" and performed it with Bocelli during the 2007 concert at the Teatro del Silenzio. The song was released in 2008 on the DVD titled Vivere Live in Tuscany...and I am glad I have it. Andrea Bocelli is an Italian classical crossover tenor, who is my all time favorite singer.​

It's Asian Nicole. My friend and I both are big fans of Chris Botti. His music can be sometimes very romantic and emotional or sometimes intimate, often boisterous, but always layered with experience and life profoundly lived jazz music. We love his music!!

Last night, we went to see Chris Botti's concert at Roy Thomson Hall again--twice in a row since last March. Wow, what a magnificent concert! I enjoyed it a lot!! Thanks so much once again for the lovely concert, my darling friend!

Since the release of his 2004 critically acclaimed CD "When I Fall In Love", Chris Botti has become the largest-selling American instrumental artist. His success has crossed over to audiences usually reserved for pop muisc and his ongoing association with PBS has led to four #1 jazz albums, as well as multiple Gold, Platinum and Grammy Awards.

Over the past three decades, Chris Botti has recorded and performed with the best in music, including Andrea Bocelli, Sting, Barbra Streisand, Tony Bennett, Lady Gaga, Josh Groban, Yo-Yo Ma, Michael Bublé, etc. He has also performed with many of the finest symphonies and at some of the world’s most prestigious venues from Carnegie Hall and the Hollywood Bowl to the Sydney Opera House and the Real Teatro di San Carlo in Italy.

Chris Botti would love to invite Andrea Bocelli to joint with the lovely lady in singing "When I Fall In Love". He was joking around:

"Ah, it was very difficult to reach Andrea Bocelli. When I dialed the number 1-800-Vatican, I heard that press "1" for Pope; press "2" for Andrea Bocelli. Then I pressed "1", the Pope answered me right away; however, I tried to press "2" many times, he never answered my phone calls." Lol.​

Hello Gentlemen,

It was a while back, my friend who I went to see Chris Botti's concert with, we went to see Brian Wilson's concert at Sony Center on Nov 21st, 2018. It was really cold that night (-20 °C) with some snow! However, it was quite warm inside the theater and all the audience was very excited! Wow, what a great concert! I enjoyed it a lot! Thanks so much once again for the wonderful evening we spent together, my darling friend! :thumb:

Brian Wilson (born June 20, 1942) is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer who co-founded the Beach Boys. The Beach Boys were formed by Wilson with his brothers Carl and Dennis, their cousin Mike Love, and friend Al Jardine. Brian, who grew up influenced by 1950s rock and roll and jazz-based vocal groups, after signing with Capitol Records in 1962, he wrote or co-wrote more than two dozen Top 40 hits for the group.

His honors include being inducted into the 1988 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and winning Grammy Awards for Brian Wilson Presents Smile (2004) and The Smile Sessions (2011). In lists published by Rolling Stone, Wilson ranked 52 for the "100 Greatest Singers of All Time" in 2008 and 12 for the "100 Greatest Songwriters of All Time" in 2015.

In addition to his unorthodox approaches to pop composition and mastery of recording techniques, Wilson is known for his lifelong struggles with mental illness. He is often referred to as a "genius" and is widely acknowledged as one of the most innovative and significant songwriters of the late 20th century.
