Last agent I spoke to offered me 3.5%. I say if you knew an agent who did it for less, call him back and see if what he says. I don’t see why I should pay more as housing prices have fallen, so I’m getting less overall.
If you want to sell your house, this is the best time to do it. Interest rates are low, which means bidding wars. Most investors aren't affected by the mortgage rules as they have plenty of cash lying around.
There's alot of cash buyers around that area, so yeah it's pretty crazy that homes would fly off the market. That's what I thought too, but apparently buyers are taking advantage of COVID recession and buying now before it gets really bad.
Yeah I contacted my agent and he said now is not the time to be buying or selling anything. Banks are likely not willing to loan out money, when they're losing money by deferring mortgage payments for their clients. Not sure what I'm going to do as prices are already high to begin with and...
If you day trade I highly suggest a combination of profit and loss orders to protect from downfall. We are in a volatile market right now and moving forward, you need to have a good trade location if you want to go long a stock
As real estate investor myself, I would definitely recommend buying an apartment building with cap rates around 5-6%. Cap rates outside of Toronto are much higher which is why I would recommend buying an apartment buildings outside of Toronto.
