That explains why my Triple Baconator from Wendy's arrived late. Mystery solved!

I won't need to call this guy now.

It's a pretty sad state of affairs that we've normalized violence like this. No doubt the guy in the Mercedes should be charged with assault for what he did to the 2nd guy who posed no threat.

This would never had happen if the Gardiner was torn down and vehicles were banned from Toronto.

We need a no-car zone Toronto for pedestrians only and bicycles.

Olivia Chow should use this as an example of how safe the streets of Toronto have become under her watch.

It's quite the endorsement.
Roads are a provincial responsibility. Also, if drivers this crazy, makes sense to keep the bike lanes

Emergency vehicles could still operate in a no vehicle Toronto.

Air quality would def change too for the better.

Just look at how things operate in Europe.

The building of the Gardiner was the 2nd biggest mistake in Toronto's history.

How do emergency vehicles operate without petroleum?
How will responders eat, without food delivery?
How do they get to work ? Cycle in from Richmond Hill?
Have you actually thought this through?

This doesn't solve the problem. If anything it pushes traffic congestion and frustrations on neighborhood streets where you will most likely find kids too. You're pushing the problem to another intersection. Restricting access will increase the bottleneck effect which will frustrate people more.

Let us know what Frank thinks. Is he in Europe?

This is what Grok spit out:

No public record indicates the attacker was ever charged.

This matches a March 26, 2020, road-rage incident near College Street and Beverley Street in Toronto (around 12:30 p.m.). Toronto police described a physical fight between occupants of the involved vehicles. The suspect (associated with a black Mercedes-Benz C300, plate visible in the circulating video as CJAY-431) allegedly knocked out two men, then stomped on one victim’s head while he was on the roadway, before getting back in the car and driving southbound on Beverley.

Police released a photo of the vehicle and appealed for witnesses, dashcam footage, or other information (contact: 416-808-5200 or Crime Stoppers). Contemporary news coverage (e.g., Toronto.com, March 31, 2020) matches the video details exactly, including the location, car, knockouts, and head stomp.

No later reports, police updates, or news stories document an identification, arrest, or criminal charges against the attacker. Searches of news archives, police-related coverage, and related terms turn up only the initial appeal. The clip has recirculated on social media (including the October 2026 post), but that does not change the absence of any public charging outcome.

Indeed it would make a great campaign video for her fiscal management! The guy in the video was cleaning up the streets free of charge, no tax money required!

Looks like the winner went to ground....This is during the beginning of Covid so I'm sure the Police were preoccupied with the political feeding frenzy that was about to start.

2008 Mercedes Benz C-class Worth about $4000 usually owned by young loud mouth jerks prone to road rage.

I would sentence him to 6 mo. jail time. ...............plus.

A criminal record.
Probation ( 3 years ) and anger-management counselling.
No-contact orders protecting both victims.
A victim fine surcharge and possible restitution.

A civil claim for damages by either victim.
