I have a few married gents who fall under this category and are miserable, but because of children and financial reasons they stick it through. I wish I could tell them about our community but I know it wont go well and jeopardize losing friendships.

I was married 5 years. Pretty much once married sex went down. I was pushed to the side when I wanted some so I stopped trying especially later on like the 4th or 5th year. Then it became only when she was in the mood or trying to want another kid which wasn't a reason for me to do it. Overall not a fun experience. I hope the best for married men on here who hide their hobby.

I made the mistake of marrying way too young a few months before my 23rd birthday. After the second child sex was pretty much non existent. I stuck around until the kids grew up but I realized that the marriage was doomed when I kept trying to initiate sex and was constantly refused. I stopped asking and deep down I resented it because to be honest the reason I got married was to have more sex. Boy was that ever one of the biggest mistakes in my life.

I've got a few of those too, and sometimes I feel like giving them a seminar in how to safely and successfully see escorts in the GTA. I don't for similar reasons.

I suspect a fair number of the married / long term relationship guys won't admit it because they don't want to risk it in one direction or the other.

As far as my opinion on the married guys themselves go: TRY to be a person of your word. TRY to live up to your commitments. TRY to be as honest as you can REASONABLY be. TRY to maintain a satisfactory sex life. Respect your partner's fundamental dignity and absolute safety. Don't do things that SHOULD make it hard to look at yourself in the mirror in the morning (including both who you choose to see and your behaviour).

If you check the above boxes than you should have little reason to feel bad about doing what you need to do, and it's alright to enjoy it. (Edit: Though, FFS, don't try to conduct an almost certainly unilateral emotional affair with the first escort you see. At that point you have bigger problems you should be dealing with.)

The old saying is so true, that if you put a penny (if they still existed lol) in a jar every time you had sex with your intended before getting married, and then took a penny out of the jar every time you had sex after getting married, you will never empty the jar!

Good Luck, Mr Gorsky.

According to a Buddy Hackett stand-up routine, on July 20, 1969, when Neil Armstrong became the first man to walk on The Moon, after he said "That's one small step for [a] man, one giant leap for mankind", he then said "Good luck, Mr Gorsky.".

When asked about it years later by a former NASA employee at Mission Control Houston, Armstrong said that when he was nine years old, he had been playing baseball, and a home run ball ended up in the Gorsky's backyard. When he went to retrieve the ball, through an open window he heard Mrs Gorsky say "Oral sex? You'll get oral sex when that kid next door walks on The Moon!".

I checked those boxes but after three decades I had had enough. The roommate type living arrangement was not something I wanted to keep going till death. There were other issues that ended the marriage. I also had/have porn, masturbation, SC, MPA, occasional escort addictions that predate marriage. I'm happier now not living a double life.

When I was about nine years old, I decided that I never wanted to be married, nor did I want to be a parent. For reasons which I won't go into here, family life was not a pleasant experience for me.

My decision hasn't changed. I've met a number of women whom I would have considered marrying if there had been mutual interest, but I always saw 'having nothing' as being a preferable option to having something I didn't want. My personal freedom has always been more valuable to me than having a lawn and a tree in the backyard.

Sonic, you're a good guy. I've always maintained that I'd like to be reincarnated as your
Just wondering how many people are in a sexless marriage and for how long has it been like that.
Divorced guy here who lived it for awhile. There were a lot of problems in the marriage that ultimately led to a disconnect and for my part, a whole lot of jerking off to pornhub every time I was alone. I recognized that my destiny was to grow old lonely and sex-deprived unless I did something about it. Okay, so first of all, it took a shitload of courage to leave an unhappy marriage. I lost a lot of money and many relationships were affected. In the end, I wished I'd done it earlier because you can't get back those lost years and there's nothing worse than being desperately lonely while married. So after the initial shock, I realized I can live pornhub instead of just watching. I've had some crazy swing-from-the-chandelier monkey-sex since I've started seeing professionals. Dating is not really on the table but that's another story. Besides I'm having too much fun. I hope that if anyone reading this gets anything out of my story it's that time is precious and lost time can never be recovered. Obviously there's more to the story than just the sex, but for the purpose of this exercise on the escort review board, I've kept it light and hopefully compelling. Hey thanks for starting this post. Good question.

And then there's this cunt. "Some guys have all the luck." 6 decades of wine women and song and 3 marriages and 8 kids.

Getting to thinking my life sucks worse than I realized. Yes. I have been in sexless relationships. Very hard to get out of. We got along. Just no chemistry. I finally went to a marriage counsellor who told me very quickly "you're friends. Not lovers. Dump her. Thank you sir. Why didn't any of my friends chip in with the advice I was looking for permission to act on?

All of this… 18+ months without sex and a roommate like relationship for around half of a 19 year relationship.

Except that edit hits too close to home. Glad to hear I’m not the only one and it happens enough to be mentioned. 😂😂😂
