Chose to limit myself to one album per artist for variety's sake. Picking just 10 is so hard!

1. Hot Fuss - The Killers
2. Good Kid, MAAD City - Kendrick Lamar
3. AM - Arctic Monkeys
4. Ceremonials - Florence + The Machine
5. Demon Days - Gorillaz
6. MM.. FOOD - MF DOOM
7. Awaken, My Love - Childish Gambino
8. DTMF - Bad Bunny
9. Random Access Memories - Daft Punk
10. 808s and Heartbreak - Kanye West (sadly stopped listening to him after the schizo nazi stuff)

Honourable mentions:

What's the Story, Morning Glory - Oasis
White Album - The Beatles
1989 - Taylor Swift
Stankonia - Outkast
Nevermind - Nirvana
There is not enough storage capacity on terb's servers for my honourable mentions lol... :geek:

I think Good Kid MAAD City is Kendrick's best LP
My favorite MF Doom LP is Operation Doomsday. But Mm.. Food is dope too.

It felt wrong leaving rock royalty like The Beatles and Nirvana out. And Taylor helped me get laid in uni so she has a special place in my heart 🤣 Shoutout to the billionaire country-pop princess. Even if you’re cringe now, I still love you.

Rush - Moving Pictures
Metallica - Master of Puppets
Black Sabbath - Heaven and Hell
Iron Maiden - Number of the Beast
Iron Maiden - Brave New World
Iron Maiden - Powerslave
Tool - Fear Innoculum
Tool - Lateralus
Dio - Holy Diver
RHCP - Californication
RE Heaven and Hell. I'm ashamed to admit this, but for 25 years I was an "If there's no Ozzy, it's not Black Sabbath" guy. I only considered the first 8 albums to be "Black Sabbath". That's no exageration.

Then a few years back, I listened to Heaven and Hell for the first time. Yes, that recently. I was absolutely blown away by how good it was, and for the first time, I could see that it truly was this album and Dio being the perfect Ozzy replacement that largely kept Black Sabbath relevant during the 1980s and into the '90s. It's really solid album.

Dio is one of my favourite singers and imo one of the greatest rock singers of all time.
The man had pipes!
Sadly, he was taken way too early.

And also extremely flexible as a singer. His first releases were doo-wop records in 1958 when he was 16, in the early 1960s he was in a rockabilly band, in the middle and late '60s he was in blues-based and psychedelic rock bands, in the 1970s he went hard rock when he was in Rainbow, and then full-blown heavy metal with Sabbath and his solo work.

I can't think of anyone else who had such an eclectic career.
