LOL! You clearly don't know anything about wars. There is a massive difference in the commitment to a colonization effort and a retributory war against a weakling nation like Afghanistan.

The actual war in Afghanistan was over in like two weeks, the rest of those years were spent on a fruitless "nation building" project from Kabul which was a waste of time because Afghans aren't willing to fight for their own Democracy.

When a country wants to colonize another they don't spare any expense, they are ruthless and there is no pretense of respecting international law. Think the Crusades or the British Empire.

Again, Vietnam was also not a colonization effort, nor was it next door to the USA. You haven't got a clue what you're talking about.
Dude, when they built the British Empire, there was no such thing as "international law". And the Crusades was not a colonization effort, but a..... crusade. (Hence the name). 😹 😹 😹 😹

Taking it and keeping it are two different things, as you said so yourself. Without all those free US bombs, and US military backing, and the US fighting their wars, the Israelis wouldn't hold shit.
My money would be on the IDF to kick the shit out of all contenders. Just like in 67 and 72.

Arab armies suck shit. They always lose. Just like the Saudis are caving to the Hooties right now.

Right...because countries don't break international law now that we have it. :ROFLMAO:

Oh boy, this guy doesn't know what colonialism took place under the Crusades LOL

Oh yes, because they struggled so hard to keep territory after the Nakba which they then named Israel :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

They've already taken us economically and culturally lmao. Everything we buy or watch is American. They are overwhelmingly our largest trade partner upon whom we are dependent both economically and for national security.

Stay triggered :ROFLMAO:
Thats like saying Germany is France's biggest trade partner and has done to same.

I know you want to be Ametican, but won't apply for the simple reason they would likely reject you.

You can't go using logic like that on people like that they're going to lash out and yell at you about how triggered you are while snot and drool falls off their face

Except the French aren't nearly as dependent on Germany as Canada is on the US, they aren't watching German shows and movies, and they aren't bereft of other trade partners close by in the EU.

They wouldn't reject me, it would just take forever so it's not worth the hassle. I would definitely love to be an American though for sure

And we won't be either in the coming years. Why do you think Trump is threatening other nations for making deals with us? We are finding other markets. India is coming up next. You think Modi is coming up to say hi? They are going to announce a trade deal. China trade is going to expand. EU trade, South Asia trade. I think you will see a 15% plus rise in non US trade within a few years.

We can't shift away by much, since it will always be cheaper to import from the US than any of those other countries you mentioned. At best we are simply substituting where we can in a few areas where Trump has made it more expensive for us to import from the US due to his tariffs, but that won't be the case once he's no longer President.

We can export. Create competition. And lessen reliance. Its already started. We have a west coast port bypassing the USA capable of 400,000 containers a year, with expansion plans to double that. New pipelines leading to refineries in Canada, bypassing some of our oil down there. There is interest in our agricultural products, fish, beef. Lumber is sought after.

As I said, let them bid for what they need. And the grassroots boycott is resulting in higher Canadian company sales within the nation.

Maybe you won't have a long memory, but many Canadians do. I will be checking labels for a long time after Trump is gone. And btw, if you don't think this shit can arise again, you are wrong. They voted fir this for three cycles. Its not over by a long shot.

75% of our exports go to the US and 60% of our imports are from the US.

As I said before, diversification of trade will only last so long as it is cheaper than doing business with the US, which is only going to be true for two more years until Trump's term is done.

Say what you want about "checking labels" but the only thing people are interested in on a label is the price. Once the price of doing business with the US returns to pre-Trump status quo, any diversification deals made in lieu of that will vanish.
