Just speaking from my own experience here — I definitely can’t speak for every girl or every club — but I think a lot of the time it’s less about trying to get someone through the door without giving them information, and more about being cautious about who we’re actually speaking to. For me personally, if someone’s Bluesky profile looks brand new, inactive, empty, or potentially fake, I’ll often either not respond or simply direct them to contact the club and discuss things in person. I’m banned from X, so I can’t really speak to that one haha.
Again, this is only based on what I’ve personally experienced, but you’d probably be surprised by how many people reach out with no genuine intention of booking. Sometimes it’s other girls, sometimes people fishing for information, and sometimes it can even be people from our personal lives trying to figure out exactly what we do. That last part especially matters because saying you “work at a massage parlour” can be intentionally vague. Some of us don’t necessarily tell friends, family, acquaintances, etc. the full extent of the services we personally offer because there can still be a lot of judgment around this industry.
That absolutely doesn’t mean everyone asking questions has bad intentions, and I completely understand why a genuine client would want enough information to decide who they feel comfortable booking with. I just think, from my own experience, there’s often a balancing act between being transparent with legitimate clients and protecting our privacy, personal lives, and safety.
