Trump's motives was to terrorize the world and get a better deal for America, pure political theater for the coal miners, farmers, union worker in the MAGA group. Few countries bowed down to the Orange curse. Canada/Carney made deals with many countries, opened up markets and lead the world to defy Trump. Trump destroyed the reputation of the USA, Carney enhanced the reputation of Canada. When Trump is out of office and a politician like Newsom gets into power he will make repairs to the reputation of the USA and try to reconnect economic ties. Canada may be better off not because of Trump, but in spite of Trump. Canada will regain what we had, and have what we will gained with new ties with other countries.
Trump has made America realize how dependent they are on Canadian oil. The Canadian pipeline companies are blue chip growth companies many with high dividends. I bought South Bow Corp. on its IPO and I am holding long term also trading short term. All stocks
listed below except PPL are due for a quick 1-2 day day trade and looks good for a swing trade.
