I’ve been doing this hobby for 3 months now and want to go get tested again.

Where do you guys go to set up the test papers, and then get tested?

The previous time, I did it through my family doctor. But it took like 2+ hours.

But now I’m looking for a place where I can get the test papers set up online, then I can just walk in at an appointment time and get it done all within 1 hour.

What’s best for that?

I want to test for chlamydia, ghonorrea, syphillis

Fasted way is you call your family doc or call a walk in clinic asking them you wanna get a STI check. Walk in day of appointment and get tested. Then book a follow up over the phone appointment roughly 5 business days after the test and the doc will let you know over the phone if it's neg or pos. Can't get any easier than that. Or there's online testing through like TeleTest, but I forget if they charge you. I think they send the paperwork to LifeLabs or Dynacare and you just walk in there and get tested then do a follow up too.

I generally prefer to get tested 3-4 times a year for ease of mind.

I went to a walk-in clinic in my neighborhood. I told the doctor that I didn't want my STD results test reported in my file of my family doctor's computer system. He said, no problem.

I just looked up the sexual health clinic of my local health unit booked an appointment went in and had it done. They tell you no news is good news. Meaning they don’t call you if there’s nothing to report.

The syphillis and HIV and Hepatitis B tests are processed through the Ontario Ministry of Health or Public Health ofr something. AFAIK, unlike Lifeless these results are not posted online. However, if you have an account at the clinic you are using and it has an online portal, they will post your lab results there.

STIs are reportable diseases, therefore they automatically get reported to public health. They can contact trace, and inform partners, but rarely do, instead relying on you to contact your partners.

Yes. I told him I have no idea who I caught chlamydia from, because I had unprotected sex with several partners in the preceeding few weeks, so I couldn't inform them.

What is the benefit of using these guys versus say maple and then going to a lab? Seems like more $$$ for the same thing or am I missing something
No benefit, whatever you are comfortable with.
