Toronto Girlfriends

Have you ever dated an escort?

Like truly dated and been in a relationship with a sex worker?

I'm not talking about sex or having a friends with benefits relationship. Those are so shallow and a dime a dozen , and anyone can do them.

I'm talking about a real relationship with a real emotional connection.

Has anyone successfully been in one of those and is there any advice you would give or any resources you found helpful?

Yep I have, didnt work at all, truthfully I couldn't handle the thought of her with other men once I developed feelings for her, she was very GFE when we first met and that was her offering to all clients, she insisted the GFE I got in private was genuine but frankly , couldn't see much difference

I think most men would not be able to handle this if they had genuine feelings for the lady, we are territorial and possessive by nature

Yep...a couple of times (even lived with one for a year). Just have to have agreed upon rules and boundaries when it comes to handling the industry (like don't read reviews on TERB) and supporting each other in life goals. Both relationships ended amicably and like any relationship just got to a point where we both realized we wanted different long term things in life and didn't want to hold each back.

In one case I was never a client (but we met via the industry) and the other I started as a client but things evolved and changed but was a great two years

I hooked up with 2 past few years and ended it after a month or two. Both financially had nothing to show for. And both were heavy smokers with other issues that wasn't worth my time or effort. The intimacy was really no different than a few civvie women I've dated too. Otherwise I got extremely bored and annoyed with their ranting that was generally the same. Whining and stressing about their financial situation and repeating stories of the past which mostly included issues with their folks and past exes. Meh...

I much prefer single life.

Twice.
In hindsight, I would say they weren't as serious as they seemed to be at the time, but the experience may be relevant.
The first was a couple of years long. We talked about future plans together, went on vacations, stayed at each others places, but I think it was wishful thinking for both of us.
Different life stages, life experiences, world views, etc.

Anyway, it takes two pretty special people to make a relationship work, long-term, when one of them is a sex worker. Especially an in-person sex provider.
Regardless of how long we were together, there always seemed to be those doubts in the background.
Is he just with me for the free sex?
Is she just with me for the things I buy her?
If the guy shows a little jealousy, how much of a problem is that?
If he shows no jealousy, does he really give a shit?

How much of her workday can she talk about?
Telling you about the guy with the micro-penis or the guy who wants her to piss in his mouth is pretty funny.
Even the guy with the huge cock that she couldn't DT is interesting.
But the guy who wants to take her to some exotic place for a week?
Is she hinting at something? Do I have to compete with this guy?

I don't know of any resources for this, but they're probably out there.
I think the best you can do is just keep communicating.

It wasn't that kind of stuff that ended the relationship.
But, in the long run, I'm sure it would have taken a toll.

I don't know if that helps at all.

Good luck.

You really need to know yourself to be in that position. I always wonder being in a relationship with a SP how active is your mind wandering at times. Is it worth the stress of knowing or not knowing when your alone. Kudos to those who make it work, you are much more evolved than I will ever be.

Well wow .. you got some great responses here.
I have not but examined that question over after seeing similar posts from John's.

Let's play with this scenario if you and I were to hit it off.
For younger me, I remember me as a jealous fck. So back then no. But older me jealously won't be a problem for me I don't think. Maybe it's cause I've got a wall or two up so perhaps you might not get as close as you would like maybe. But that doesn't mean I wouldn't care about you

I could accept your job choice, even ask how your evening went. You'd have to have a very high sex drive cause I would hope your horny as hell when you get home lol.

What I might have a problem with is if you experienced an asshole and or hurt you in someway. I'd be wanting to be taking names and numbers if you know what I mean. So for this reason and the stigma around this hobby in that my own circle of people would not accept our relationship and I may get disowned. I couldn't see our relationship working.

So let me turn this question around to you. Could you have a meaningful relationship with a male pornstar? Or maybe not the same but a male escort who's bisexual?

There are literally dozens and dozens of threads on this. Though given that there are a couple hundred thousand terb members, I is quite rare.

Yes and it lasted a while. It does take the guy to be understanding which is the hard part. Most guys struggle with the thought of another guy kissing there girl.

Worked for me as I knew when she finished work or saw me, she had eyes for me and wasnt on her phone for work. So we kept work and private life separate.

Ended it over long term plans but we are still friends.

Again, im probably the exception and not the rule.

An escort I used to see frequently was married for a number of years while I saw them professionally so this is second hand information. I believe they are getting divorced now( from what I have heard for reasons unrelated to the profession). But they have since stopped working so we are not in contact as frequently.

They told me that the things that made it work was a hard understanding between them and their spouse that what was happening with clients was work and different from recreational connections. Ongoing communication. And very ridges boundaries with clientele.

They were a fantastic escort, only ever seen positive reviews about them, but while very kind and personable, they were very buisness minded, you could tell they enjoyed their work but that ultimately they viewed it as work and for those that want a more organic experience that can absolutely be off-putting.

I've taken a break from hobbying since they retired because finding a fun, spitfire, communicative, well reviewed, thick lady that provides regular day time sessions from a clean incall space at competitive rates, who isn't on drugs and who doesn't have a pimp waiting in the wings is rare in the area. If anyone has recommendations I would happily take a peek, but until then old handy will have to do the trick.

Yes. Like all relationships, accept the person for who they are. Don’t try to change them. Instead ask yourself what values do you share, what boundaries would you establish and let go of the other stuff and don’t let them get to you.

i helped 2 ladies transition (their choice) out of the industry from a career management standpoint and financially. We dated for 2 and 4 years. We are friends now. I miss one of them dearly.

I have dated 2 other escorts. One was established, the other one was just starting. The first one I dated her far before I started escorting myself.. the second one I actually did my first real call with her. It was kinda funny. The client just wanted to see us together.

It didn't work out in either cases but it wasn't because of their work
