"Warren Buffett has repeatedly stated that Berkshire Hathaway's massive size makes beating the S&P 500 by a wide margin nearly impossible now, which is why he frequently advises everyday people to buy low-cost index funds instead."
Correct, which is why you cannot buy his stock because he closed it as it was getting too big
All big managed funds also have this issue - when they get too big they cannot swerve
But, the salient point is you are not Warren Buffet so you should just buy an ETF and hold, according to Mr Buffet. He advices the S&P but I say it depends on your risk tolerance. I have a huge risk tolerance so i am big into the S&P but that is just me
You need to listen to somebody, so I choose Mr Buffet because of his past success and because he is being honest. He is giving free advice and he is not trying to sell anything
