I think perhaps the 70s and 80s, they used film and then later video tape to make movies, e.g. Caligula or Taboo. There was enough space on those media to add maybe an hour's worth of dialogue, and it didn't really require a lot of acting skills. Ironically, with the advent of digital media, there's more than enough space to do entire mini-series' worth of dialogue without it costing much more in media storage. But now they try to be much more minimalist in their approach. They can bring out tons of videos, but the videos will be shorter.I agree. If you do like PLOT , and they do exist, there older porn, and Taboo (which is heavy in plot, since they have to set up the "taboo" be it step, babysitter, cheating, or doing a pizza boy/girl) or now very popular we gong to convince the person to make a porn /OF to pay the bills. Outside of Taboo or variants there not much plot. The 70s and 80s had first dates and romance plots but I have not seen a modern version of that this decade (I am sure one or two exist) the closest is the date to the Massage Spa (which is date plus taboo)
The Taboo series was directly about actual family incest, not just "step-". Mother-son, father-daughter, etc.
