Stars on 45One of the songs which reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart during the 1980's has the longest official title* of any song to have appeared on the Billboard Pop Chart.
* Its official title in the US and Canada (as on the record and in Billboard and RPM).
Name the recording artist(s)/ act.
That's why I asked for the name of the recording act, not the song title.Stars on 45
(The song is a medley and the title is like every goddamn song in the medley and I don't know it by heart.)
I always knew it as The Stars on 45 Medley because it was so famous. (I am sure they have other medleys but that's the only one I know.)That's why I asked for the name of the recording act, not the song title.
It's usually called 'Beatles Medley ' or 'Medley Intro Venus '.
I recall an ABBA medley receiving a fair amount of airplay in Montreal, early 80's, but on stations I didn't listen to by choice. Those 'faceless' studio acts pretty much died out when MTV started.I always knew it as The Stars on 45 Medley because it was so famous.
