So, it's possible. Did you feel pushed abused or forced to befriend him?
So, if things went marginally better, he could have been your bf. Sooo, you kind of just confirmed what OP was saying. You can be friends, thus you can be partners.
No I didn't feel pushed abused or forced to befriend him, and nowhere in this thread have I even hinted that anybody dated their clients because they were forced to. LOL. I just said it's a bad idea to date an escort of date a client because the dynamic will change once you start hanging out off the clock.
It's not that "things didn't go well". It's that we didn't have as much in common as I thought we did, and we weren't compatible personality wise. We made the jump from client/provider to "friends" very fast, so there wasn't a huge transition. There was an attraction, he wasn't like my usual clients, I was alone in a different city, etc. I still really like that person and we're friends, but we couldn't date.
If you read all my comments, you would have seen that I said some of my colleagues have dated clients before. It does happen that clients and escorts date, I never said it didn't. I just said it's often not a good idea, from all the stories I heard. It seems like you're not capable of understanding the nuances in what I wrote and I would suggest going back and carefully reading the discussion again instead of jumping to conclusions or assuming I said something I actually didn't say.
OP was saying that he books escorts to find a girlfriend and he seemed to think escorts become escorts to find a partner. That's delusional imo. It's not the same as saying "love between a client and an escort can happen".
The difference between the story I told and what OP wishes for, is that there were no expectations. I asked this guy to hang out with me, he didn't expect this, and it was on my own terms. I also didn't expect to meet somebody I would find attractive in that context and I certainly don't work as an escort in order to find a boyfriend.
