When Donald Trump leaves office, the world will have an opportunity to return to a more stable and prosperous path. International politics could become less confrontational, reduced trade disputes, tariffs, and geopolitical tensions that have strained relationships among allies will ease. With a renewed diplomacy and cooperation, past trade partners will strengthen their alliances, global trade barriers could ease, and businesses will regain confidence to invest and expand.

The global economy has continued to struggle with the lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic that Trump has extended, high inflation, supply chain disruptions, and prolonged uncertainty will ease. There will be a shift toward more predictable economic policies and reduced trade friction could help accelerate recovery. As confidence returns, investment, employment, and consumer spending will improve, allowing the economic clouds that have hung over much of the world to gradually part and make way for renewed growth and prosperity. It will not happen overnight, but the world will start to heal from the Orange virus that have afflicted us all.

MAGA is plotting a change to the government where Donnie will be named the supreme Ayatollah. That way the Constitution remains in tact and there is no 3rd term issues. Don't think for a minute that they aren't considering this

Trump is the best thing that ever happened to Canada. For decades the Republicans have done everything they can to fuck us over and the prime minister was helpless to do anything in fear of retaliation. Now fuck up Trump has left us no choice but to trade with the rest of the world. In 2028 when trade resumes our economy will be the best we have ever had

Absolutely agree. Canada has needed to expend its export portfolio to other countries for decades.

The US has now proven itself to be completely impotent in stopping Trump (and, by extension) any other radical president they get from doing whatever the hell they want by illegally breaking trade agreements. It's happened with Trump and it can happen again.

I agree, once Fat Donnie the Mob-boss is gone the world will start to heal. Just like when a dangerous storm finally passes by, the lying, the shakedowns, the complete ignorance and pure bullshit will be gone with the wind. But America is in the midst of the Confederacy having power, so what evil comes next. It's not written in stone America will turn from the path of a right-wing fascist state.

Trump will die or become an invalid, but the problems with America's dying democracy will remain: - octogenarian lawmakers; lawmakers who use insider information to invest and who take bribes and become multi millionaires after a couple of terms in office; a Supreme Court which is too much aligned with 1 party or the other, or who - like Thomas - are openly corrupt; pervasive racism and tribalism; tensions between Christian nationalism and progressive democratic ideals.

I leave anything out here?

Canada needs to face up to some facts. Even before Trump the USA was violating CUSMA So they break every deal. As I predicted after 2008, there will be a continual decline in morality and an increase in fraud and corruption going forward. There is no longer and deterrence to moral hazard, there was little before, but now its utterly shameless.
