Hello everyone, I know it has been recommended to never use your real number for an encounter or when reaching out to new SP/MP. Any good recommendation for what to use now a days; ideally a budget friendly option. Thank in advance!
What plans are folks using for Burners?? or if you dont use a plan what do you have setup?? I get so annoyed with phone apps, been trying to use textnow but would rather go the separate phone routeBurner

I use TextNow too.I have been using textnow. But it rests your number if you don't use it for like 2 weeks.

I’ve had mine for years - no ID required at the time. I did need to provide an email address. I recharged $ in December for the year, so if it discontinued in July I am not aware, guess I’ll find out in 5 monthsYou need to provide id on activation don’t you? Or input personal data?
Also it seems like Telus discontinued this as of July 1, 2026. Gotta use Koodo now

You made a lot of assumptions in your post but I will just quote the last paragraph because that more or less sums up your attitude.When I see a "lucky mobile" or some cheap company I know the person on the other line is going to be cheap and awful but generally a Bell, Roger or Telus line is legit and whoever I'm talking to is nice and respectful.

Using a *no-frills* or *less well-known* mobile company does not necessarily mean the person is cheap. It may simply the person mean the person is good at finding deals and maybe, just maybe is good with money management.
