Hello everyone, I know it has been recommended to never use your real number for an encounter or when reaching out to new SP/MP. Any good recommendation for what to use now a days; ideally a budget friendly option. Thank in advance!

I’m also interested in this. Are there apps that handle large images well, in addition to texts? The last one I used to use would either reject or convert images to postage stamp size.
TextMe works with data or wifi. You can use another email address to get it.
I may be a little biased because I (and honestly a lot of providers I know 
) have text app numbers blocked, so there’s a good chance your message won’t even make it to us.
Buuuut, if you’re absolutely determined to use one instead of a burner phone, email, or Bluesky/X, TextMe gets my vote. It’s free, you can turn notifications off, delete and reinstall it whenever you want, and it’ll still keep the same number instead of making you start over every time. It’s definitely the least annoying of the bunch.

What plans are folks using for Burners?? or if you dont use a plan what do you have setup?? I get so annoyed with phone apps, been trying to use textnow but would rather go the separate phone route
I use TextNow too.
You receive a warning a few days before it takes back your number if you don't use for a bit.
What I usually do, I send a message from my burner to my work phone, like "Hey Buddy, what's up?" and reply from my work : "Wrong number", then delete both messages on each phone, lolll
I have my own burner phone & use Telus prepaid . $100 and unlimited texting for 12 months no name or id required.& I have same number for years so regulars recognize
You can get a fairly cheap SIM card/eSIM with chatr and just switch between numbers on your phone. Theres also a few kiosks around the city so can pay the bill in cash. Not as easy as a text app but not difficult either.
A big issue with text apps is they recycle numbers. So if you get a number that belonged to another client, or provider it could pose issues. I.e being blamed for scenarios that weren’t you. Those bad clients go through a lot of numbers trying to book the same women that have blacklisted them. And providers share blacklisted clients so a lot already will have the number blocked.
That being said I’m not saying don’t use them, use what you feel is best for your situation. I personally use textnow as well. A good route is probably an email specifically for chatting with providers.

You need to provide id on activation don’t you? Or input personal data?

I don't accept texting apps... But when I did I figured out that some legitimate people were using texting apps that give an immediate high risk score.

I'm not sure which texting app it is but I did meet one legitimate person through it even though their fraud score was the highest it could possibly be.
I wouldn't really bother with texting apps at all.
Any provider that would engage with a texting app in the first place , is probably putting up with a lot of verbal abuse and harassment and is STRESSED OUT.
People that don't talk to texting apps are a lot of happier. They have a lot more free time to focus on keeping clients happy and providing great service. They're not being harassed, fake booked and treated like shit.
It might be worth getting a pay as you go phone but not the budget ones.
When I see a "lucky mobile" or some cheap company I know the person on the other line is going to be cheap and awful but generally a Bell, Roger or Telus line is legit and whoever I'm talking to is nice and respectful.

I’ve had mine for years - no ID required at the time. I did need to provide an email address. I recharged $ in December for the year, so if it discontinued in July I am not aware, guess I’ll find out in 5 months

I use a text app with providers I haven’t seen before sometimes. Once I meet them and everything goes well, I will then use my real number with them from then on.
You made a lot of assumptions in your post but I will just quote the last paragraph because that more or less sums up your attitude.
Using a *no-frills* or *less well-known* mobile company does not necessarily mean the person is cheap. It may simply the person mean the person is good at finding deals and maybe, just maybe is good with money management.

I don't necessarily think that lucky mobile in itself is a terrible company to use , but I think they allow for free number changes so people dont learn how to be on their best behavior.
If there are NO consequences for being rude, disgusting and awful people just continue doing the same things.
I don't think a lucky mobile is a terrible company but the people who use lucky mobile are generally terrible and its probably because they can harass hundreds of women with one number... and then a month later change their number for FREE and start all over again.
People who want to waste time and be jerks dont really have money and they have A LOT of time on their hands.

Men dont pay to harass women. They would never pay $20- $30 to change their number with a major company just to bother someone. These free apps are a stalker / time wasters dream.
It's the bums with no money who use texting apps and use carriers that allow for free number changes that are a problem.
I'm not saying every person that uses a texting app is a bum or a loser but a lot of bums and losers use them. A lot of crazy ex boyfriends and a lot of people that cant control their anger. One woman uses them to fake book other escorts and send them nasty messages
I have a 0% booking rate with lucky mobile. Just lots of questions, lots of small talk and requests for free photos that are available online.
If the majority of people using texting apps are awful and dont show up to their appointments and are rude and downright disgusting and ignorant... and then you cut out texting apps and all of that behavior stops... It's pretty safe to assume that the majority of people who use texting apps are not even worth talking to let alone booking with. Even if like 10-20% of them are decent.
These budget carriers that allow for free number changes create the same issue.
You people can do whatever you want but I pretty well cut out all time wasters and fake bookings just by not engaging with texting apps or lucky mobile. If lucky mobile charged even $10-$15 for a number change I dont think the bums that spend all day harassing people would bother changing their number. They're broke. Thats why they spend all day trying to get free stuff and getting mad at women for not giving them free stuff.
I cut out almost ALL time wasters and I have more free time and time and energy to focus on the people that matter
