I think Spain conceded only one goal the whole tournament. They definitely were the best team.
Loved how Spain played. Dominant. I dislike the Argentine squad’s whiny (to put it mildly) vibe. A few of them could hardly be considered gracious in defeat.

Everyone focused on France and England and Argentina (me included lol) and forgot Spain were unbeaten in their last 37 matches.
Sore losers, they were outclassed and outplayed. They say defense wins championships but in our football (aka soccer) it's the midfield imo
and Spain has that in spades, the stats speak volumes, I don't recall a one-sided WC final like today's.

Its not a rule but if he's a danger of getting red carded you want to have him off. It was up to the manager. Some guys get pulled after the first yellow cards.
Martinez was superhuman with all those saves. It could have easily been 5-0.
Worst case scenario was that Spain didn't score at the end, and Argentinia won on penalty shots. The way fans are pissed off about favoritism towards Argentinia, there would have been outrage, and the Argentinians would have been hated by all by winning by luck and perceived bias. This is probably the best ouctome. The better team won, and convicingly, while the Argentians saved face by conceding only one goal.
