A more Bluesy William Bell
he wrote this song, and fellow Stax artist Albert King, the Blues man covered it..and made it the headliner of one of the greatest Blues Albums of all time...imo
The Blues aint for every taste..but William Bell is so soulful on this one
I hadn't heard this one before. Not a huge blues fan but I'm digging it. Love the lyrics they just flow so well.
I remember discovering "Private Number" on the Stax various artists double LP "Soul Explosion" when it was first released, and being blown away by it.

Dilated Peoples so damn good, that era of early 2000's hip hop has got to be some of the best, the beats alone are beyond amazing on many of the songs
