If it starts again a ton of people will be killed in Iran and Israel.
If it starts up bigger it will last a couple of months and the oil shock will be massive, possibly starting a global recession just as the super El Nino hits food production.

trump lost the war and Iran is within their rights to control the Hormuz with america blockading Cuba. They should get restitution for the war and Hormuz fees are likely the only way, unless you think trump will actually send them $300 billion.

Sure, Frankie. The MoU does not give Iran the unilateral right to control the Strait of Hormuz however it wants, so stop making shit up.
Yes, Trump started this conflict and deserves to pay a political price for it. If voter rage continues, Republicans will lose the midterms. That said, if Iran attempts to restrict or interfere with international navigation in the Strait, the U.S. and its allies would still have a legitimate interest in ensuring freedom of navigation. Military force should be a last resort, but preventing the closure of one of the world's most important shipping lanes is a separate issue from whether the war itself was justified. If they block the Strait, I say do whatever needs to be done, and yes, militarily.
The flip side to that is that Iran allowed the Hormuz to be free passage for centuries and only after a war do they need the income as reparations.
america has no right to demand free passage, though Iran does say Oman controls part of the passage. The MOU says free passage only for 60 days.
Iran won't close it, they will just charge a fee like the Suez or Panama canals, to pay to rebuild after Netanyahu and trumps war.
The western world has no right to passage there, no right to threaten Iran over control and no right to start another stupid war.
