Tbh I was on the road to Montreal when I stopped for lunch so it’s a good possibility that they don’t care about standards and focused more on speed.
I believe it How many times do I ask for it double toasted and it’s still not regular level toasted.yup the tweet i saw was this one that showed unmelted cheese

They really have to fix their machines at some locations, it's like the damn things don't work with how much they don't even toast on the first pass
The cheese melt they have now is not exactly the same as the old grilled cheese sandwich

It's the lack of hygiene, so if that's part of the equation, I guess so.
I've seen a guy walking around barefoot at a Timmies, an insane amount of garbage overflow and dirty tables.
This tracks and this was in a Chicago subway, the Spanish girl complained, but management didn't do anything.

Never seen anyone sitting barefoot on a counter, handling food, so.. yeah, I'm positive businesses and those that worked in them were far more hygienic and more clean.
But you go ahead and keep defending the lack of hygiene.

I wonder if the bad experiences are in certain parts of Toronto. I stay in Sauga and avoid DT areas so wonder if good or bad out there. Quite a few Timmies on my map not far from where I stay in airport area.
The point that certain cities within GTA may have more health inspectors and enforce codes more than others.
That doesn't address the Grilled Cheese some of us used to enjoy but the flies etc
