If Vegas doesn't win will Marner and/or Torts assign some of the blame to Toronto?

In 4 games...that's almost a point per game.Only 3 pts vs Colorado. Just saying.
Oh man..LOL..Carolina comes back to tie it up.If VGK ends up losing this game, I will put the blame directly on Leafs whipping boy Marner. Should have converted on penalty shot.
All this says is that the organization as a whole (coaches, management , media etc.) couldn't realize his potential to the fullest. The guy is clearly capable given the right conditions, it is also clear that he wasn't drafted (years ago) by mistake, somebody saw the potential. Here's an interesting stat, in a single playoff season prior to this all with the Leafs Marner's highest goals total was 3.
That's 9 seasons.
He was a Mark Hunter pick because of his ties to the London Knights. Sadly it was the only good selection by Hunter the so called birds eye for talent when he was a member of the Leafs staff. But it was a deep draft in 2015 and Marner would've been a top 6 pick for sure. All this says is that the organization as a whole (coaches, management , media etc.) couldn't realize his potential to the fullest. I'm pointing at the Leafs' sad and incompetent coaching staff on this one. Marner popped 3 goals in 1 period last night. Here's an interesting stat, in a single playoff season prior to this all with the Leafs Marner's highest goals total was 3.
That's 9 seasons.
A lucky bounce is what saved them. Great series so far.Vegas almost blew a 4-0 lead.
