Cops were there to crack down on aggressive cyclists who dont stop at stop sign ( they received many complaints from pedestrians on dangerous cyclists)

The cyclist in viideo ignored cops command of stopping , and cycled past LE. He deserved to be tackled and arrested!!!!!
Cops did their job!!!

"What did I do wrong?" he says. LOL!

When a cop gives you instructions, you follow them!
I do not see an agrgessive arrest by LE, cyclist was resisting, LE are allowed to use just enough force to control someone to make arrest.

Hmmmm, who do we blame, the cops or the cyclist? Hmmmmm

The idiot cyclist.

"According to police, officers saw a man riding eastbound who “failed to stop for the clearly marked stop sign.” When officers directed him to pull over, they say he rode through the intersection “at a high rate of speed” and shouted a profanity at them.
A second officer attempted to stop the cyclist, but police say he again refused and tried to flee. Officers then moved in and arrested him."

Some of these fuckn cyclists are fuckn ridiculous. They fuckn ride their fuckn shit bike besides each other. One in the designated bike lane and the other fucker on the road, chatting. If only the cops would give them tickets for doing that. Fuckn hate cyclists on the road.

Agree , and disagree.

I cycle, and I stop at stop signs. I also get in with the cars, center of a lane, when turning left at a stop light, then ASAP when I make the turn I get over to the right. So I don't like cyclists that bomb through stop signs. 4 way stops I get in the middle of the lane. After all, I am going just as fast as the cars at that point, so why not line up with them. I also don't like to pass cars on the right at intersections. Feels to me like trying to double dip on both worlds.

However, my problem is with bike lanes outside of city centers. I like to ride a few inches on the road on DOUBLE LANE Streets If, and only if, the bike line has a lot of little stones in it. And that often happens, the cars tend to drive the stones over to the side, and with a street bike with narrow tires, those stones are horrible to deal with. Cars get angry, but to me it is no different from them avoiding obstacles on the road. I am doing the same thing.

Here
I see cyclists breaking the laws all the time Lakeshore Boulevard is very bad for this, they blow through stop signs like they don't exist they run red lights they don't stop for street cars they plow through people trying to get on the streetcar large group of cyclists will take up the whole Lane riding two and three together like they own the whole Road. This guy deserved everything he got I hope the police do more to make sure cyclists follow the rules like everybody else

Like Chris Rock said, if you run from the police and they have to chase you, they're bringing an asskicking with them

One of the greatest bits of all time.
Yes, you break the law, openly and blatantly disrespect the law and the cops, and on top of it you insult them.
Yair, you might require a mild tune up. Maybe they didn't need to go so aggressive, but to further quote Chris Rock.."I'm not sayin' it's right, I'm just sayin'..I understand."

The number of fatalities caused by motor vehicles in Toronto between Jan 1/26 and June 1/26 is 23. 23 deaths in just 5 months!

The 23 deaths caused by motor vehicle drivers include14 pedestrians.14 innocent lives snuffed out by motor vehicle drivers in just 5 months! Now that is what I call carnage on the roads of Toronto.

The number of fatalities caused by bicyclists in the same time period is 0.

The 0 deaths caused by bicyclists include 0 pedestrians.

Speeding (thanks Dougs!), distracted and carless driving, (thanks again Doug!), are cited as causes of the 28% increase in fatalities caused by motor vehicle drivers.

Don't even try ..... the number of motor vehicle caused injuries, maimings, dismemberments, paralysis, catastrophic head injuries and highway traffic infractions absolutely dwarfs any other mode of urban transit and all other modes modes of urban transit combined.

I didn't know he shouted a profanity and tried to get away. I guess he realized he wasn't Lance Armstrong in a big hurry.

Seriously though, had he stopped, he would have received a lecture and sent on his way.

I was on my bike on the sidewalk a walking cop stopped me and told me you can't. I said what? He said you can't ride your bike on the sidewalk, I told him I didn't know and he said no problem and I was on my way. The above dickhead had it coming.
