I've never had a girlfriend so I'm wondering if anyone has analyzed the pros and cons, financially and emotionally.
How much do you have to spend with a civilian woman? Is the sex and companionship a lot better?

Girlfriend /wife is always more expensive. Count the mental toll of having to hear them, listen etc etc etc. that shit wasnt for me tho, not my poison anymore. To each their iwn

Well....

Considering my SO makes more than me, has also recieved bigger inheritance from elderly relatives, and I contribute less at this point (early on I made more but she happily agreed to let me step it down) monthly, yet its all jointly owned......

I'd say its how you pick em that counts.

Basically if she has more shoes than common sense then you know..

Or you're picking the wrong women to try to have relationships with. This city has large concentrations of women with good jobs who aren't looking for a meal ticket. Date those women, and don't try to migrate them into a position of dependency (or do, but be prepared to pay if things fall apart, especially if kids are involved).

Rather humorously I know a nice lesbian lady who has to pay support to her ex-husband in a joint custody situation. She is every bit as bitter as some dudes here. Though her and the wife are doing just fine financially.

All it took was common sense. I didn't know if she would do better, but I did know she wouldn't put us into bad debt.

In 10 weeks all debt, mortgage, car loan, CC, will all be clear. With a decent nest egg.

Depends. An ugly, super horny girlfriend is likely to give you a much better ratio of dollars spent to blow jobs than even the cheapest hooker. Where as a cheap hooker once or twice a month is likely to give you better spooge removal service than a super hot, high needs, not so horny GF.

My personal advice is to look for mid-looking girls with self esteem issues. They don’t expect to much, and once they get turned on they are into all sorts of wild stuff. A six or seven that begs you to pound her in the ass bare starts to look like an eight or nine by the time you’re unloading in her. ;)
