Would she return all the money she made related to her porn work if she could delete it all?
I bet she only made like $450K at most. I don't know how many scenes she did, but the female talent gets about $1500-$2K. But, they don't get royalties. So, all those streams on the Hub or what not doesn't give her a penny.

To be honest, I don't understand why she is still so popular. She was pretty back in the day, but she hasn't done anything in a decade.

Now, all that being said, there is no way ALL her videos or pics will ever get scrubbed from the internet. All she can hope is that her memory fades and nobody give a fuck about her in 10 years when her kid is old enough to hear about shit like that (maybe older).

How did they determine the hpylori?..An endoscope?
I had a friend who had it and I helped them through the process. Barium x-ray can identify the ulcer, Breath testing can screen adequately for h. pylori to begin treatment if a conclusive positive.

If not, then or the symptoms persist, they can do an endoscopy and take a sample of the tissue. That provides a conclusive diagnosis to confirm or rule out h. pylori.

Because people who does that deserve some kind of bad karma their sin, right?
not really karma but a huge percentage of women knows the implications of going into the porn business...she also got signed to one of the biggest porn sites became one of their featured star, the hottest adult star of her era. they most likely own her videos and she still is one of the hottest chick in porn and they will keep making $$$ from those videos. I feel bad for her kid...If I recall from one of her youtube interviews, she was proud of her decision and also happy to work with a few male stars and how their really talented in fucking...the only chance her kid won't find out is if she stays away from the business...from social media and live a quiet normal life.not a guarantee though.

Feeling bad for the kids is another weird projection.

I have a friend in the music industry in Vancouver. He was offered a decent-paying gig to record the music for porn films about 25 years ago, just as he was starting out.

When he was speaking on the phone with his contact at the production agency in LA, my friend was told, in no uncertain terms, to give some serious thought to about what he was signing up for, that even if he uses a fake name or doesn't have his name listed as a credit, doing work for the porn industry is a career killer and could seriously harm his career aspirations if anyone in the music business starts poking around. There's always a paper trail.

My friend decided not to take the job.

If this kind of heart-to-heart warning was had between a porn production guy and someone just recording music for the industry, I can guarantee that actors and actresses are given the same talking to.

that is a great possibility but most people who get into porn are getting thrown a huge amount of money specially if they're seen as good investments...I mean....Lana Rhodes was the hot shit that took the porn business like a tornado...she tried to cross to mainstream tried podcast etc...i mean she saw the writing on the wall somewhere while doing porn...she can't do it forever and if she was planning to have a family at some point then it's going to be difficult...the only really positive I can think of is that she quit young. which meant this wasn't the career she really wanted....more like a young woman seduced by money and fame...

Another thought....The fact that this has been on several mainstream news sites means that there will likely be a massive uptick in Lana Rhoades related searches and streams of her scenes....Basically the Streisand effect...

Here is something to keep in mind before pushing your argument too far. As well as some empathy. 🤷‍♂️

It is a medical fact that the pre-frontal cortex, where decisions that have long term implications are made, is not fully developed until between age 25 and even 30 years old

This is why many young people make bad decisions with long term consequences.

Here is the AI summary:

The prefrontal cortex (PFC), responsible for planning, impulse control, and risk assessment, continues to mature until roughly age 25—and often into the 30s—meaning young adults frequently rely on the emotional amygdala for decisions. This developmental gap explains increased impulsivity, sensation-seeking, and susceptibility to peer influence under 25

Key Aspects of Brain Development and Decision-Making:
  • The "Brain Gap": While the brain's reward system (limbic system) is fully developed by age 12-14, the PFC matures much later. This imbalance means emotion and immediate rewards often override long-term planning.

  • Maturation Process: The PFC undergoes rapid development during adolescence, involving neural pruning, which increases efficiency but leaves it susceptible to stress, substances, and environmental influences.

  • Impact on Choices: Under 25, individuals may exhibit improved logical reasoning compared to children, but still struggle with decision-making in highly emotional or social situations.

  • Beyond 25 Myth: While 25 is often cited as the maturation point, recent research indicates significant remodeling of the brain extends into the early 30s. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]

Implications for Behavior
  • Risk-Taking: The immature PFC results in less capability to fully calculate the long-term consequences of actions, leading to higher risk-taking, particularly in peer groups.

  • Emotional Regulation: Decisions are often guided by the emotional amygdala rather than the rational PFC.
  • Individual Differences: The rate of maturation varies by individual and is shaped by experiences, stress, and relationships

OnlyFans has diverted a lot of women from considering becoming SP's or MP's into online self-exploitation of their looks and sexuality.

I'm not judging either way. But one aspect of the OF route, is that as others have said, once your content or images are on the internet, IT IS THERE FOREVER.

Lana Rhoades was once the biggest name in the adult film industry, but almost a decade on, the former X-rated actress has spoken about how she regrets her decisions.

The American ex-pornstar has been speaking out against the adult industry for years since leaving, having claimed that she was 'taken advantage' of while she was pursuing that career.

Real name Amara Maple, the former adult star has been open about her short but fruitful stint in the industry.

Having worked for eight months in total across 2016 and 2017, part of two stints, she would go on to become one of the most recognisable and successful pornstars of all time.

As well as being voted Pornhub's Most Popular Female Performer in 2019, Rhoades enjoyed a long spell at the top of the website's most popular performers, years after she'd left the adult industry.

But that doesn't mean she's particularly proud of her time on screen.

28, has been very vocal about her dislike for the adult industry, having penned a long statement on Twitter back in 2020 about being over-sexualised since embarking on a new career path.

The content creator spoke about a few scenes that were particularly 'traumatic' for her on the 3 Girls 1 Kitchen podcast, which she co-hosts.

She explained: "There were three to five that were really traumatic for me - whether it's being sent to a set with someone who was way too old, or being pressured into doing something that I was scared of doing because it was too extreme, that can definitely be very traumatic."

Rhoades didn't shy away, claiming it was 'the 100 percent contributor' as to why she called it a day on her porn career.

Speaking on the scenes in particular, she said on the podcast that 'one of the worst' had her denying that she even did it in the first place.

"I tried talking to a therapist about before something that I had to do for a scene that was really rough for me," she began.

Rhoades went on: "Basically, this guy had a bowl and he, like, gagged me until I threw up into it and he, like, p***ed in the bowl, and during the scene he asked me to drink it, and I didn't know how to say no.

"It was one of the most disgusting, foul scenes."

Speaking on Harry Jowsey's Tap In podcast in 2021, she admitted that if she had the power to delete all of her videos, she would.

The 28-year-old said: "A lot of the videos I have no rights under, otherwise I probably would have deleted them all by now."

"I do," she confessed when asked if she has any regrets, adding: "I honestly tell people, if I could go back, I would give up everything to have my dignity and respect back, and for people not to be able to see me in that way."

It's one of the numerous times that the content creator has spoken about her past career choices and the effect on her mental health.

Talking about why she regrets it all, she clarified that it's nothing to do with the nudity, but 'the stigma that will follow you for the rest of your life'.

She explained: “Your neighbours will tell you that you can’t live next to them bc they have children, your bf’s will tell you that know one else will ever love you bc of your past, and it be held over you everyday of your life [sic].”

You can’t uncum that, burdened by what has been.

I get it...young people make stupid decisions....then when offered a hefty amount of money that somehow clouds their judgement even more. she wasn't the first one who fell for this. and most of the time it's easier to get lured by friends or other women who does it because some how it's a case of FOMO on money and fame....it's too late to be regretful...the best way to bury it is stay away from the business and stay away from social media. going online and vent out your regret somehow reminds people about you and what you did....and introduce you to the new young adults who are not aware of your existence and now are....

Yes, and when you're as young as she was (she's still pretty young) you're never thinking about the end game -- you're living in the moment and that money seems to good to be true.

I think the "oh, shit, what did I do?!!!" moments came far more to people who did porn before the advent of the Internet, circa 1994/95, when some were even using their real names. They never dreamed their true identities could ever been revealed through simple checks that anyone could do on a home computer.

And then there's Peter North, who fashioned himself as the studliest of studs, but whom, it turns out did a shit-load of gay porn in the early and mid-1980s, which he hilariously will try to deny, LOL.

Another problem she's facing is she's running a podcast with 1M+ subscribers / followers... anyone who comes across her videos, a hot woman it's easy to search Lana Rhodes nude and bingo...you eventually will see her taking 2 dicks at once...

another porn star named August Taylor Michele Soel left the porn business started a family and into the fitness business. she is not calling to remove her porn videos from the internet
Neither is this one, nor Riley Reid when a similar story was trending with her a while back.

People in this thread acting like she's launching some legal campaign to challenge porn, it's literally just a conversation and saying "yeah, there's stuff out there I'd delete if I could". A perfectly reasonable sentiment to have.

What's weird about that? That kid might get bullied growing up and you think it's weird feeling bad for the kid?
Because you assume that having a mom sex workers is a ground to be bullied on based on your own negative view of the actors in the industry. Do you fell bad for the kids who's dad pay for sex? Raise your kids not to bully anyone and myib. How about that?

With more than 130 million of men who pays for OF and the amount of model nowadays I think you guys forget the world change

I'd feel worse for her if it weren't for two things.

1) Porn has never been a socially "acceptable" profession. So it's not like she hadn't been warned off it prior to deciding to do her two stints. No one just mistakenly comes across such a profession. She chose to engage with it.
2) She can complain all she wants about being taken advantage of, and I do believe there's some truth to that, in that pressure exists to do certain things. However, once again, she AGREED to do those things as an adult. She herself engaged in some advantage-taking on her OnlyFans where she scammed her customers by taking their money and not delivering on her promises. Further, she had an NFT scam a few years back where she fleeced her fans to the tune of $1.5M or something around there.

So yeah, in terms of people I particularly feel sorry for, she ain't one.
