Yes!!! We can trade it to the Bruins, what could possibly go wrong.
SJ won the second lottery which would have jumped the Leafs if Leafs had not won the first lottery.
They also had the best odds before the final ball before SJ hit it.

Jason Bukala is Sportsnet's expert on NHL prospects, and he says the Leafs should take the Swedish LW prospect Ivar Stenberg. He says McKenna is offensively more dynamic, but Stenberg has a better all round game. Also, Stenberg might be more NHL ready because he's been playing in the Swedish top league, which is high quality competion.
Stenberg is a young Sundin, big and strong on the puck, with a great shot. McKenna hasn't had a great year.
Can't believe with all that bad karma they won the lotto. If they were smart (which they aren't) they should trade down to #3 and take the top puck moving d-man while accumulating an extra draft pick or three. We'll see if any team really covets McKenna or Stenberg.
In order for Leafs to pick #3 that trade would need to come from Vancouver not just any team and
Vancouver could get Stenberg without trading their 3rd.
I read on The Athletic a little while ago that McKenna and Stenberg are a clear 1 and 2.
Look at us talking about McKenna or Stenberg. I'd be happy talking about picking 5th a month ago.
Chase Reid, a right-handed defenseman, is the best-ranked defenseman in the draft. The Leafs could use him.
