If they are indi providers they could take a while. We usually complain when they answer text messages mid session.
This!! They can’t win!! It’s up to you to let them know when it’s ok to reply. They may have been off for a day or two. It’s up to you to be responsible for your own comfort.

Some providers are high volume and some might have lots of messages and can't reply to all messages promptly. If one don't reply message another one eventually someone will respond

If she doesn't reply the same day, You block her?
She can't have a life?

If I message a provider and she replies another day, I take note of the information, I will still exchange with her and will apply whatever she says for another day.
Today, she's not available, I will look for another provider. Maybe another day, she will be the one available.

Seriously - they don't reply to you right away, so you block them? So that if/when they do reply to you, you won't see it? A few days to get a response is not at all unusual. Here are some things to consider:

* they might be working (on an extended date, and so keeping their focus on their client)
* they might be on vacation, or otherwise busy in their personal life
* they might be receiving a high volume of messages, and having trouble keeping up
* they might have expressed a preference to be reached out to via a different method of communication, and you might have missed that

If you were interested enough to reach out to them in the first place, then there shouldn't be a reason for you to not be interested whenever they get back to you. And if you're not good at pre-booking and working with a time pressure, you need to be narrowing your focus to people who make it clear in their advertising/on their websites that they can manage that.

But blocking them? You're just cutting off your nose to spite your face.

Edited to remove some unnecessary snark at the beginning.

I usually text the girl around 9:00am when I see new posts on LL, assuming that means they are available that day. If they are already fully booked, I’d really will appreciate a quick heads-up so I know. Example yesterday I message a girl 10 minutes after she reposted her ads on LL and I’m yet to hear anything back from her. Most girls will message me the same day but some don’t.

Maybe they don’t like the way you are reaching out or they are busy. Not every girl is sitting there with phone in hand. Some Leo list posts are automatic. So they may already have their bookings for the day. So seeing a post doesn’t mean the sp physically just posted.

Exactly what I was going to say: some ads are automatically renew, all day, all night. You see the ad at 7 am... the girl is still sleeping.
And again, even if some girls will reply the same day, it's not all girls. You have girls who pre-book, you have girls who do same day booking.

Some ladies actually state "if I can't reply to you within one hour I won't, so text me again". This strikes me as a professional approach to the risk of a phone dinging when a significant other is nearby. But not everyone is professional.

Ultimately, each of us is responsible for our own risk-management decisions.

Why would a girl automate her ad to post at 7 am? Doesn't that waste advertising money, cuz she's paying to advertise to guys who message her and then she doesn't reply?

Certain times of day are less expensive. I asked the same question before

I have waited 7 days for a reply.....I don't stress about it. Life is stressful enough to have to worry about people not responding to me.......don't forget you are not calling 911 for an emergency! You are reaching out to a Lady to ask her if she would like to spend time with you. Take a chill pill and relax!
HB69.....was here?!?!?! I love saying take a chill pill and relax to people who can't seem to wait for a Lady to reply!

I only work when my ad is up, it’s states that i don’t answer my phone while im in service so to be patient and I’ll reply when I can. I also take my ad down when im fully booked. Most girls will take it down if they are not available, however there are alot of sites that have copied our ad to post on their own websites where we have no control - I usually ask Google to remove from search

I tested a well-reviewed (one may say a forum favourite) SP back in late August, and I never got a reply. I took that as a sign that she was either busy (work, life, etc) or wasn't interested. My text was polite, asking if she had any availability.

That is, until last Friday - nine months after I originally texted, right out of the blue stating that she was available for the next few hours.

Honestly, that's unprofessional and could have led to an issue. For THAT reason alone I am considering blocking her number, and that may go for anyone working with/for her. Not because she didn't answer within a couple of days, but due to the above.

If this had been, say, a roofing company that contacted me a year after I got a quote from them (I emailed them saying I wasn't interested in their company), then that email would be reported as spam and the sender blocked.

I moved on from both. I found different, professional SPs and a better roofing company.

It’s not that serious.
