I find the pricing sometimes creates a bit of a weird dynamic if you’re just there for the basic session.

I find the pricing comparable for the best looking, top rated girls. It looks to me like the girls at the spas take into consideration that we’re also paying a door fee when they give pricing. That’s been my experience. The girls at the spas know what the Indys are charging and keep themselves competitive. I suppose if you’re looking at the lower tier , lower priced Sp it may be cheaper to go independent. i like the spa experience as it’s generally clean, discreet, comfortable. I don’t have to go though a hotel lobby hoping I don’t run into someone I know. Also Less chance of getting scammed at a spa.
To each his own I guess.

As someone who only ever gets the basic I worry about this. Also pretty much avoid alpha for this reason, where upsell seems much more prevalent and common place.

With that said if anyone has a list of Indy’s who just offer the standard massage experience that would be appreciated. They seem rare.

I'd like to add to what Penguin Pete and Winebong have said, because I feel the same way these days. As someone who has been around for many, many years, I do miss the days when all that was expected at a spa was a 'basic' type of session. i.e. massage and h.e. and maybe some mutual touching and/or a shower for 2. Call me old-fashioned or lame, or cheap, (or all of that!!) but that's all I really want and still want these days. If service was great, leave a little tip above and beyond the standard fee.

Lately I have found that most of my spa sessions with an unfamiliar MA include some major attempts at upselling, awkward conversations, and I've been quoted any thing from 250 to 500 extra for the full monty. I sometimes feel guilty for not pursuing these major extras, and almost feel like Winebong said it creates an awkward dynamic in the session. Like the MA could be spending time with someone paying way more.

One recommendation : I try and reach out via social media to the MA in advance and say hi and get a feel for whether they are okay with a standard session. In some cases that has really helped!

I used to be strictly an independent guy for years. These past couple years I have been visiting alpha of the time. I love the atmosphere there and the bar etc.
Chatting with the staff and ladies, having some beverages and then sneaking away for some play time is just what this guy wants. I’ve gotten to know a few of them very well and and feel super comfortable being seen by anyone who pops in.
This being said, I’ve also had some fantastic experiences with Indy’s, and have formed some amazing bonds there also. Everyone’s experience is different from who you find attractive to what services you’ll be offered to the price and “extras” as some would say.

Summer time is Alpha time for myself and a few brothers, if you run into us you’re guaranteed to have a good time. We definitely bring the party when we can.

As an independent lady who has never worked in a spa I would love to understand the appeal of a spa from a business perspective as I obviously want to meet as many targets as I can. I can’t do things like offer a diversity of ladies on a last minute basis, it's just me or duos prebooked, but if there are amenities and other small things, maybe I can.

I would like to have a better understanding of why you guys choose spas over Indies if you're able to explain

Morning Ruby, I used to go to a couple of Spas as at the beginning of seeing Ladies it was much easier to get in for a session and not requiring my ID or deposits, and I could book that week or even just a couple of days before. It was like a full menu of women each week to choose from and then book, bring some extra money incase something more might be offered (I would have no idea what that would entail for each Lady). After about 9 or 10 visits, the costs, the background noise, a few times I have heard others enjoying their time, once I had to wait 50 mins out of a 2 hour session for a Lady in the room by myself,....I had to leave the room sheepishly to use the bathroom down the hall as others rooms were already in full use of their time. The Lady, when she arrived to the Spa then took another 10 minutes to freshen up outside the room, and then came in and we had a lackluster time even though I had paid her for some other things, nothing occurred. I left, feeling like I am done with Spas, the front desk attendant shrugged her shoulders as I left. I don't complaint about service at a restaurant the power for me as a client of any establishment is just to not return. Same thing with Spas, my power as a client is not to return, I do not need to come here and rant and rave about the whole thing and name Spas and the individual Lady (I guess I sorta just did rant but no names or locations). She won't see me booking with her again anyways. I have I been teased again by the reviews on here for sure, but I put my foot down and I much preferer seeing a Lady at her own incall location. Incalls locations they feel more relaxed, there are not 8 other rooms potentially being used, and I don't hear other people walking back and forth. I understand what the service will sorta be like when I am booking with an Indy Lady and don't need to bring a roll of extra cash because I don't know what to expect. That is why I stopped going to Spas, and I was able to reach out to a couple (only 3) Ladies at Spas who saw me at their outside incall location, they also said they preferred the incall location thing also. They had a few different reasons for not going Indy everything from this is a temp job, to cost, the extra rent, time to setup bookings and website and cost. Although I have been several times to the same incall location in the city so the Ladies do have options for rental of incall but that comes at a cost also, but apparently this location is very busy. Then last security the liked the idea feeling safe at the Spa vs an Indy location. Sorry for the rant Ruby just might little insight to what I have been through and the reasons why I migrated from Spas to Indy. If you have any questions you can PM if you would like. I think two big factors are price and confidence in knowing the deal is real for me. Cheap Indy = hard to know if it'll be a scam. But for under $200 I can see a girl at a spa that I know is real. Her pictures are real, I can easily book her as well. For that price I won't get full service of course, but what you get can still be amazing. ... And sometimes options to upgrade may exist.

Honestly, looking to find real Indy girls take a lot of research. There's not one easy place to find them, without the fear of tons of scams in there. You have to read reviews, find websites, etc and I think often the reliable ads you find are for older, established, providers.

On the other hand I can go to a club site, browse dozens of real profiles, including many that are younger and "hotter". If there was a reliable place to find all Indy ads it would make a huge difference - oic is good but like I said, mainly older established. Leolist is full of fakes, tryst often only very high end and also fakes... So... That's my experience. Have mostly gone to clubs for those reasons though I've finally found an indy I love and I am hanging on to her with all I have! Because when you find that, it beats a club hands down... But you have to find it first!

One thing I really appreciate about spas, and that’s almost never mentioned, is how easy (or rather more affordable) it is to build a connection, develop attraction, get to know the person, and feel comfortable over multiple sessions without opting for any extras. It creates a strong sense of anticipation, making the full experience feel even more satisfying and desirable.

As usual, great question Theredmilf.

I see girls at spas and also Indies. I don't really care if the provider works at a spa or if she's Indy, ultimately it's who I want to see.
There are pros and cons on both sides.

Spas represent the easiest and fastest way to meet new girls, without any headache:

• No deposit
• No screening
• No risk of scam

I wait on Sunday evenings to have access to the schedule and if the spa has a booking system, I can book online without anything else to do.
I don’t need to interact with the girl, prior to the session, I won’t waste her time, nor mine. If I want to interact with her (Bluesky, X, SMS emails or anything else), it may be possible if she has social media, but it’s not mandatory. Some like to do it, some don’t.

With spas, text apps are always ok.

Most spas have walk-ins: it’s easier for those clients who can’t plan in advance. During a walk-in, clients may have presentations of different girls, but this has its limitations. I personally never do walk-ins, I like to plan in advance, worst case scenario, at least I will give a call to the spa, prior to going there, to know who’s available and lock my session.

Now, at spas, the feeling of privacy can be a bit challenging: you know there are other people in the rooms just beside... for some clients, it can be intimidating. I also dislike it when the session happens in a room with only a massage table, no bed. So, the choice of the place is important.

Meeting an Indy will carry the same quest for privacy and a good set up. Like I said, there are pros and cons in everything. But with Indies:

• Most of them are asking for a deposit – I’m not a fan of deposit, but I can accept to give an Amazon or an Uber GC. However, another problem that we may face, some girls accept GC but won’t accept applying it to the total amount of the donation.
• Most of them will ask for references – it’s ok for me, but sometime, some girls ask for a reference of another provider seen in the past 6 months, who must have a website. Now, we are getting in a much more complicated case…
• Some Indies don't want to receive SMS from text apps and automatically block them - I will never use my real phone number in this hobby
• The unknown of going to an Indy incall, you can’t be sure of where you’re going.

For sure, most of the time, the Indy’s set up is nicer – Not always. But you may have an overall session more interesting.

Over the years of hobby, there were years that I only saw Indies, I was a fan of OIC when it all started, before the deposit requests became a real thing. I had several regulars, unfortunately, all retired now. But, I met most of my regulars at a spa first, had sessions with them a few times and when she went Indy, I follow her at her incall for years.

Although I have seen Indies and Agency girls in the past, I am mostly a spa client. It's basically the convenience of not having to contact someone and wait for a reply, not knowing her availability to start with. I like that I can easily book on-line with Alpha for example, which makes life much easier for me. Yes, I know there are negatives such as the risk of being seen by another client or having a session knowing there are others in the room next door, I'm willing to put up with these minor inconveniences when I want to hobby.
